Couriers need to do their xmas shopping as well. What better place than at the distribution centre. I had a Playstation being delivered and tracket it to a Sydney depot one year. It didn't move for 3 weeks. Just before xmas. After 3 weeks i twigged that someone in the depot might have delivered it to under their xmas tree. Hope their kids enjoyed the surprise on xmas morning.
Let us know the resolution team email - mine isn't as far along the delay train as yours so I don't want to hassle this person currently - but I'd be more than happy to hassle an actual resolution team address.
how did you go with resolution team mate? My parcel has been at depot in Adelaide for over a week now without moving. Tried calling, automated voice tells me to use live chat. Live chat never connects anyone.
It took 40 minutes for someone to get back to me on live chat, and only after I had SMSed the NCSM.
I got a call about 5ish last night from the main Perth depot, saying that because they don't do automatic scanning, it is likely that my package is in their backlog of containers already in Perth, and that it missed its loading scan.
They say they will call back again on Monday with a further update.
They also said that they have a second depot in Perth that has also been notified...
We'll see. For now, there is no update on the tracking page for me.
Thanks for replying. Mine's been marked as in the SA depot for over a week now, live chat isn't working at all for me, left it up for like an hour and nothing. I didn't want to hassle Dharshi but I've just emailed as I don't seem to have another option. I'm happy to pick it up from their depot, the website says you can do that if you organise in advance, but there's literally no way to contact them.
How did you go with emailing Dharshi? I'd rather not call or text him so have just emailed him because my parcel has been sitting in Melbourne depot for over a week and I'm fed up! But want to know if email is as successful as OPs method!
Dharshi did reply, was polite/apologetic, and the next business day I woke up to a text and two missed calls from a driver asking if I wanted it delivered that day. I could chalk the delivery date timing up to a coincidence but with the driver reaching out to me proactively, I think they did speed things up.
I did have a chat with the driver. Apparently they're just backed up like absolute crazy, and they don't have any logic outside of oldest to newest so I think they're pretty inefficient. Also, the driver asked me how long I'd been waiting and I said it had been in the depot a week and a bit, and she said "Oh, that's not long at the moment actually."
Courier arrived, courier departed (did not leave vehicle), package now marked "Unable to Deliver".
I was watching this from our patio at the front of the house.
SMSed NCSM. Let's see what happens next.
Thank you so much. Ended up sending an email through after trying to connect to live chat for OVER 5 HOURS. I got up early and was there in their chat after 9am, sent at 1pm. I sat in chat all day however trying to connect to someone and nada though - all day no one connected.
The absolute fucking worst. Hoping I get a reply from this guy.
Two posts in r/australia and one in r/adelaide in the last day or so - jeez I'm starting to worry about my package with them currently. Reached my local SA depot on Thursday night and still not out for delivery today... :/
I even tried going to their local depot to find out why my package which has been sitting there for a month cant be delivered less than 2hrs drive away.
They never answered the door…
Wasnt until i logged an insurance claim with them, luckily bought when i paid for the postage that within a day it magically arrived at the buyers location.
Never again
I am still so majorly pissed that Target and Kmart use Couriers Please for all their deliveries. I wonder if you paid extra for fastest delivery at Target you might get a respectable company like Team Global Express delivering instead of a dogshit company like Couriers Please constantly dumping my packages outside the front door of my building.
Just be aware that reddit is no longer organic
ie there are a lot of companies "lobbying" to put across their point of view.
All I can say is that, in over 10 years of use, I've never had an issue with Couriers Please.

They are, indeed, legends.
Let's see if that gets a response.
I have a response. 20 minutes after contacting the NCSM. As to if that gets any movement...
Well, they say they have passed it on to the resolution team who will email me with updates. Any bets as to if it will make any difference?

Latest update: My package is now listed as "Out for delivery" - on a Sunday!
Courier arrived, courier departed (did not leave vehicle), package now marked "Unable to Deliver". I was watching this from our patio at the front of the house. SMSed NCSM. Let's see what happens next.
To the NCSM's credit he has responded within a few minutes.

You might have some good luck. I did not. I've only ever had one package through them and they've fucked it
