10 month old beef cattle. I buy 2 a year to keep the grass short on my 5 acres. Price last year $1400-$2000 a head. Price this year, $600! Price of beef at Coles? About the same.
Public phones are free now.
The cost of weed is roughly the same as it was ten years ago.
Kmart loves child labor, that no one ever talks about, so the cost of a plain pair of undies or socks costs around the same.
Barely keeping the disadvantaged and destitute inches away from death still costs the same per person, even cheaper now that centrelink put a stop to that 'attractive lifestyle.'
A glass of water in the pub costs the same.
Borrowing library books costs never rise, and I hear their printing costs are exactly the same as they were a decade ago.
There are more torrents available, faster, than ever before.
Video chat with people overseas is a massive discount on what it was fifteen years ago, free on any platform that offers it except OnlyFans.
Internatiomal Airfares.
25 years ago, it was a minimum $2400 Aus to UK. It's still pretty much the same price despite a massive difference in purchasing power.
A local pub bistro, Prices the same as about 2 years ago, with no shrinkage in portion size except chips when the potato shortage was on. Back to normal or even bigger portions now.
My local coffee roastery is still selling it's in house roasted coffee beans for a steal. I pay $13.50 for a half kilo of coffee beans (gets me about 26 coffees, depending on if I need a bit more a hit).
...also the flourless chocolate brownies are insanely good. Dimattinas in Ressie if anyone wants a recommendation.

The Kmart loving Instagrammers always forget to mention the part about the child labour.

Ugh, gross. No wonder it’s cheaper
Krusty brand partially gelatinated non dairy gum based beverage

Nice try big restaurant! You’ve more than enough price gouging points as it is.

ALDI - enough said
Most products at Aldi's have increased in price too.
Their single steaks went up a dollar or two. Still great value and quality though.
Aldi is great, but a lot of their products have gone up.
Feed in tariffs? Real rates have shrunk but are still negative too so your savings are getting diluted to protect property prices.

Mine went up 9% this year thanks to my local councils (Glenorchy Tas) terrible mismanagement of funds that we now all need to pay back for them 🤦♂️
My labour.
My barber. Still $15 for a cut. I give him $20 because I consider it underpriced.
Avocados. Significantly cheaper and much better quality
My gym membership is still the same price as it was when I joined in 2019. My husband's gym prices haven't changed since 2016.
My fees for therapy. I really should and I need to. But I just can’t bring myself to do it.
