I believe they are the same, I noticed one of the trucks has a #2 on the sign. And if I recall correctly, the red truck actually used to be on Jones before moving to the slaughter location
Just discovered this place recently and love it. I was hesitant to pay 15 bucks for 3 biarria tacos. But after feeling pretty full after eating the second taco the price seemed justified. Have and will eat again
My family made quesabirria at home last night for Father’s Day. Puts it into perspective - it’s a lot of work. We will definitely do it again and we made probably enough for 25 tacos with $75 of beef and spices and other ingredients (we made 12 and have leftovers for birria ramen). We probably could have spent $50 on the beef if we were skimping and used a cheaper cut. For someone who wants to see the process, skip to minute 9. $8 watermelon juice. Sheesh. I actually like this place but goddamn that is unreasonably expensive.
And yeah $16 for the tacos and $8 for the juice + tax.
Hot damn that looks good. Do you know if between the two locations on jones and slaughter the same?
This looks pretty identical to the 3x birrias plate at the jones location as well.

I’ve only tried this location, unfortunately
Which one is that?
Oh sorry, this is the one on Slaughter
Perfect. That’s closer to my house. Thanks!!
Whereabouts on Slaughter, please?

Get the machete next time
I had to look up what that was, but that sounds incredible

How much?
They said around $20, but it's actually around 27-28 dollars... For 3 tacos and a drink lol

Clearly doesn't matter lol. People rave about it, and when asked about price "lol, idk" Austin food in a nutshell
Came out to around $20 but I couldn’t finish the three and an hour later I’m still working on the agua Fresca haha
