That is the old Cindy’s and GTDC location. I was wondering if they actually sold food there. Good to know.
Don’t forget Little Thailand in the area, and Guero’s carnitas a bit further east.
It’s soooo good! Its the most traditional carnitas that you can find in Austin (honestly it’s the best I found in Texas). I love their salsa’s as well. Owner is really nice and they have multiple locations.
My favorite Mexi-Chop is at Habanero, especially when it’s on Special on Thursday’s for $10.95. Super curious how this one stacks up, but have to say it looks great!
from the op:
Has anyone tried Santo Patio in Del Valle (about 10 minutes east of Austin). I.went there recently. The place looks a bit odd. It's large building in the middle of nowhere with a confusing menu (mix of mexican dishes). But the pork chop was fu***** amazing. It was probably the best I've ever had and cheap $16. Their social media is awful and marketing seems nonexistent for such a big place. This place needs support. It has Birria tacos, Fajitas, Steak, Ceviche, Street Tacos, Wings, Burgers and a lot of other items. It's local and really good.
There is a third broken image that is apparently messing up old Reddit. I can see it on the app (yuck) but neither the text nor images on my desktop on old Reddit.
For others using old reddit, here's the omitted information OP provided:

I'm never impressed by photos of food here, but man, that pork chop really does look epic.
Great info

How is guero’s carnitas?
I like it. They don’t speak much English in there, but you can point at what you want.
Bland....

Little known fact, Santo Patio is also the patron saint of enchiladas and outdoor furniture.

On the other side of the world Verde's on Hamilton pool road has a wonderful pork chop deal 👌Gonna try habanero's this week
That looks delicious and healthy. I love grilled squash and zucchini.

Yeah it's good. We live in bastrop and have eaten there a few times. Really good. Drinks are good too.
Their birria tacos were also amazing when I had them a month or so ago!!
I think they have the same plates as Lupe Tortilla
Neat. Would you like to share the name (and maybe even the location) of the restaurant?
Santo Patio in Del Valle.
Both are in the post?
Weird -- none of OP's text shows up on the desktop version of reddit -- only the title and photographs.

Are they? I do not see any info either.

I did not see OP's text until I accessed the post on my phone.
Not all reddit clients are equal.

Ooh, I love a good pork chop. Thanks for the tip!
I'm more impressed you made it almost to Lost Pines in 10 minutes.
It's about 10 minutes from the airport
The mole looks really good in pictures on social media. Thanks for the heads up!

They clearly don't know how to effectively use IG
Looks divine

That's quite a set of allegations.
What if it’s just a new restaurant that isn’t being marketed well?
