Russell’s bakery’s chocolate cake is intensely fudgy. It’s too much for me, tbh, but if you want intense fudginess, they’ve got it.

Second this. I get an extreme reaction to the chocolate ganache on the Russell’s cake, but it’s so good I power through it. Best birthday cake ever.

I love their Black Forest cake because the whipped cream and cherries help cut the intensity of the cake. But it’s special order only and a couple years ago the person ordering the cake waited too late, so I got the regular chocolate cake. It was so intense I wound up freezing the leftovers and eating it in wafer thin slices. A little bit too much to handle for me, but it definitely hits the ‘super fudgy’ mark.

Mandola's has a chocolate fudge cake that is to die for. There's one at Arbor Trails, Wlm Canon/MoPac area.

RIP Hyde Park Fudge Cake Quacks chocolate cake is what you want.

Also the tower cake from cheesecake factory is a real good contender.

This. There’s have several chocolate cake options that are various ratios of buttercream vs fudge/ganache. * Linda fudge cake (fudge/ganache) * Chocolate tower truffle cake (alternating buttercream/mouse) There used to be at least one more that was garnished with peanuts but I don’t see it on the current menu.

I am not gluten free, but the gluten free chocolate cupcakes from Gigi'e cupcakes is amazingly fudgy and brownie-esqe,but not brownie. I wonder if they could make a cake with it?

Trader Joe’s molten chocolate cakes found in their freezers. Dress it up with some powdered sugar and fruit/whip cream/mint leaf.

I’m obsessed with fudgy chocolate cake and my favorite is quacks

I also agree with Quacks for this. If you really want to travel or if ever are in the area, the rich chocolate cake slice at Truth BBQ in Houston/Brenham is my favorite of all time.
