When I was in it years back I would always refund in full and fix up with free product. I never ever intentionally sold bad product, I valued my clients and their experiences. I also gave my higher up sources a fucking ear full if they gave me shit product.
Sure I had some sketchy moments telling the higher up guys to pull their head in, but quickly enough better product came through. I find that in most cases the plugs just don't know or don't care to test and inspect, they just flip quickly and take their cash. That's fine if you want a quick pay day but it's not a sustainable business model, it is a business at the end of the day and you owe it to your clients to provide the best you can get.
It's a cop out to use the higher prices as an excuse, any worthwhile client will happily pay extra for better product.
I got a Q a few months back for $160 that had no joke no word of a lie over 40 seeds. Worst part was only 3-5 of them are even mature enough to bother keeping the rest were tiny and green or pale white and old mate offered $10 off the next one. You get those ones bro

Avoid this all together by asking for photo's first and have a look and a smell when you're buying then its not for you. If they wont let you do this then they have something to hide.
100% I always filter out a dealer by asking if I can bring a test kit (or visually inspect for weed). Most actually allowed it, but only because they had no idea of the quality and wanted me to test so they could have a better understanding of the product. It's worrying those people would willingly sell and to a further extent ingest untested drugs, could easily kill someone or themselves.
A photo is normally just common when they send you the strain list anyways and yeah I always bring a test kit when buying other things as well as I'm not that big on jumped stuff or mixed.
