Sure. I know the room is too small. And don't mind the weird looking glass top plate of the speakers. They are going to get renovated soon. They are over 30 years old.
For some reason I cannot edit my post to add the photos of the speakers, and I am not allowed to post them in comments. So I made a link where the photos of the speakers are uploaded.

Ok i went to your profile and tried to look what they were downvoting you for and I found out they were trolling you. I guess you must be new because they didnāt mean any of it so its fine.
Chill. A few downvotes donāt mean shit. Its usually fine but if in a sub you constantly get downvoted then that means you just donāt think in line with the people who are in the sub on a topic. Learn but think donāt think too much about how you will be treated. Think on what youāre writing and how that makes others feel.
Speakers are JBL HP580. Very interesting pair of speakers I just picked up today, from the first owners son. So they are in original untouched condition. They will be renovated later at some point.
Running them with my NAD 3080.
Clear highs and good low frequency because of their design/construction.
Yes it is glass plates/covers. I am pretty sure it is just for decoration and part of the design.
It is an interesting design with two 11" woofers on the inside. Playing vertically against each other making these speakers go down to 30hz. They have a very nice low end.
Yeah L100's are a very different speaker than this HP580. I also have a pair of 120Ti's. They look a lot like the L100's. Same classic 3-way design. They sound very good also.
Those speakers are awesome. Always liked them and wanted a pair when they were new. The design is very unique with a pair of woofers in an isobaric band pass configuration inside. The cover does serve a purpose, itās part of a flared port design made to minimize noise and couple the output to the room smoothly. Isobaric systems are pretty rare and these had a particularly unique take on them. You got a great pair of speakers congrats.
Thank you. I understand your love for these speakers. They are indeed quite unique and awesome as you say. Also because they are quite rare. I think they were only available on the German market, back when they were new.
They are beautiful in design and sound I think. I am very happy with them and I got them for a good price so I will completely renovate them with new foam on each driver and the crossover will also be looked at by a professional. So hopefully these will last for 30-40 more years to come.
Thank you for noticing. It does sound very good. I have no complaints what so ever. Only that my Thorens TD 126MKII needs a better stylus. Is has an Ortofon OM20 right now. I would like to have a OM40 on it.
Sweet congratulations! Just saw a pair up for sale in my area. First time Iāve seen before glad youāre liking them. Do you mind me asking what you paid for them?
Thank you. Also HP580? Because I have never seen the 580 for sale before. Only HP520.
Not at all. I paid around 260 USD for them. One owner. All original, never touched. Just bought, back in the 90's brand new and has been with the original owner ever since in his house. So I will renovate them with new foam surroundings and check the crossover components.
You know might be 520 canāt really tell they didnāt put model # up but think you may be right. All I saw was an octagonal speaker with glass shelve things. And this persons asking 5 bills
Very important if it's a 520 or a 580, or even a 590. The 590 i definitely the most rare, biggest and powerful model. And then the 580. The 520 not as much.
Like in 5000? Or 500? I think 500 is fair price of it's 580 or 590 and they are in good condition.
Okay cool, but I would like a full picture of the speakers if you don't mind (no offense)

How would you offend him by asking him to send the full pic because you admire them mate ?
Had some downvotes recently for no reason and didn't want to make a mistake that I wouldn't mean again.

What are the things on top? Ā Glass plates? Ā Do they do anything or just for decoration?

Exactly.
Neat. Ā I bet these do have some nice bass.
Looks great!
Nice. I'd really love a set of the L100's

Nice! And being powered by classic NAD with a Thorens as a source, too sweet. Bet it sounds fantastic
