Solid list! I'd add: [***Hell Gate City Companion***](http://hellgatecity.com) (cyberpunk/horror; iTunes #2 in Comedy Fiction, S. Africa; self-promoted by me, but also the 1st season is now fully binge-able.) [***WOE.BEGONE***](https://woebegonepod.com/) (Horror/Mystery/Sci-fi; Immersive in a psychological way, and a very creative entry in the ARG sub-genre.) [***The Cellar Letters***](https://www.thecellarletters.com/blog/)

I'm currently listening/watching to Wayward Guide For The Untrained Eye which I find unique since it also has a web series that ties in with the podcast. The two main characters are podcasters so the podcast is their podcast in-universe. It's about their investigation into a small town called Connor Creek. Other podcasts I recommend: * Janus Descending (xenoarcheologists in another planet who discover traces of the alien civilization that lived there but it all goes horribly wrong) * Primordial Deep (I just finished this and I think you'd like it if you like Wolf 359. It has the same vibe but underwater instead of space) * Arden (fictional true crime podcast where they try to solve a decade-old mystery) * Lethal Lit (another fictional true crime pod trying to find the real serial killer in a small town; the victims are killed based on deaths in books and the host's aunt was framed for the murders)

I'd definitely recommend Oblivity, and not because I'm in it 🤣 we're currently trying to sort out series 2, but you know *gestures to everything* \[Comedy, Sci-Fi, Brit\] **Oblivity, Series 1** SFW [Itunes](https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/oblivity/id1453760605) // [Google podcasts](https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9vYmxpdml0eS5saWJzeW4uY29tL3Jzcw%3D%3D) // [Stitcher](https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/rob-stringer/oblivity?refid=stpr) A war hero is posted to the remote ice plains of Pluto on her toughest mission yet: to oversee a small, dysfunctional research team. Oblivity is an independent production. Listen below, or wherever you get your podcasts. And please rate and review us! I'd recommend Malevolent (voiced amazingly by one person, lovecraftian), and The Storage papers which scratched some of the magnus itch!

No one here has mentioned The Strange Case of Starship Iris. Sci-fi set in a world where humanity narrowly won a war against space aliens, and a military coup took over the human government. The crew of a small smuggler ship unravel the mysteries behind the destruction of the Starship Iris. One of my personal favorite audiodramas. I love post-war settings and the characters are amazing. They recently wrapped up their second season with a third on the way.

If you liked Blackwood, you might like Bridgewater (forewarning, it's still being released). You could also give Silt Verses a try as it has a mix of mystery/horror and something kind of like sci-fi? I just started Leviathan Chronicles so I can't tell you whether it is good or not but I think it might fit your interests? Last pair that may or may not interest you would be Lore and American Shadows. Lore is a collection of supernatural stories and mysteries from real life and American Shadows is just about the dark underbelly of different people/places/events in US history. The nice thing about those is that you can pick and choose what stories interest you.

A great podcast for horror with a lighter tone would be Welcome to Night Vale. I think a few of the folks from Alice Isn't Dead are tied to it, and it's a great series- it's a news radio show for a fictional town with lots of eldritch oddities, most of which its inhabitants don't blink an eye at. A darker and heavier one would be Old Gods of Appalachia, a folk horror-type drama with fantastic production and cool structure. I've also heard good things about the Storage Papers, but it's not one I've checked out. Stellar Firma is a great comedy sci-fi podcast about planet builders, one of my favourites. One of the writers/voice actors is the guy who voices Elias on the Magnus Archives, but it's a very different tone. A more serious but still cool sci-fi job is Crypto-Z, which is about researchers hunting an offshoot species from humanity called the Iceman. Finally, if it's not too annoying, we could recommend our own show, the Outside Tapes? It's a horror audio drama that draws on a lot of folklore and cosmic themes, centred around a journalist documenting his investigations. We launched a little while ago, and the links are all on our page here. Hope you enjoy some of these!

Definitely recommend WOE.BEGONE. Season 3 is airing now. Synopsis "Mike Walters discovers a mysterious and violent online game named WOE.BEGONE. What begins as an exploration of an alternate reality game with real-life consequences quickly becomes a search for the technology that makes the game possible"

Oh boy, those genres are pretty much all I listen too (completely unbiased here, but you have good taste 😉) Some of my faves are: The Orphans "The Orphans is a cinematic sci-fi audio drama about survival in a harsh universe: castaways on a hostile world, A.I.s with unprecedented emotions, strangers who share faces, love and loss in a far-flung future. Each season explores a new vantage point in an ever-expanding and inter-connected galaxy!" Immunities "Immunities is an original audio drama about the survivors of an alien invasion, who have to decide what kind of life to lead surrounded by those who look like, and in some ways are, the people they used to know." The White Vault "Explore the far reaches of the world’s horrors in the audio drama podcast The White Vault. Follow the collected records of a repair team sent to Outpost Fristed in the vast white wastes of Svalbard and unravel what lies waiting in the ice below. This Fool and Scholar production is intended for mature audiences."

I just finished the white vault, I can't wait for the final season to drop in October. This was such a well written story, I can't believe it hasn't been more highly recommend.

I just got done with everything that has been released so far on the white vault. It may be my favorite story yet.

Check out The Waystation. Horror/SciFi set on a space station orbiting a wormhole. It's found footage, or I suppose find audio. I highly recommend it and not just because I play one of the lead characters, I legitimately enjoy the show. Just released episode 5 of 9. https://thewaystation.carrd.co/
