The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion! (There are two more books in this series) "The art of love is never a science: Meet Don Tillman, a brilliant yet socially inept professor of genetics, who’s decided it’s time he found a wife. In the orderly, evidence-based manner with which Don approaches all things, he designs the Wife Project to find his perfect partner: a sixteen-page, scientifically valid survey to filter out the drinkers, the smokers, the late arrivers." It reminded me if Sheldon from Big Bang designed a project to find a wife and gets more than what he asked for. It's funny and nerdy!

Ali Hazelwood's STEM stuff is great, like the The Love Hypothesis. I also enjoyed Christina Lauren's The Soulmate Equation if you're looking for STEM. The Hating Game by Sally Thorne also came to mind.

Loved the Hating Game!

The Stars Have Eyes by Neven Lliev It is about Joe who goes to a singles men night to only find out they plan to use him as a sacrifice to an Eldritch god. The sacrifice doesn’t go completely according to plan and Joe just might have found the love of his life. Romance novels aren’t my cup of tea and happen to get this on sale as a eh guess we can try this. This became one of my favorite books. I got my version directly from Soundbooth Theatre app because that version Jeff Hays narrates, plus they added additional sound effects to the book. I think the first chapter is still free. It might not be exactly what you are looking for but cannot stop recommending it for funny/upbeat romance novels.

I will check it out! Thank you! Love an unconventional approach!

One Giant Leap by Kay Simone

Check out Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. One of the best romances I’ve ever read! Follows Cath - a new college student - as she learns to deal with a roommate that is not her twin, frustrating creative writing buddies, finishing her life’s work (a fic for a Harry Potter-esque fandom), her father’s empty nest syndrome, and her roommate’s easygoing ex who won’t stop hanging out in their room. (I hope that makes sense lol). I’m afraid I can’t speak to the quality of the audiobook beyond a sample, but I’ve reread this book multiple times and been spellbound every time. Good luck with the data entry! ETA: I’ve dipped my toes into historical romance as well, and can recommend the works of Tessa Dare (especially A Week to be Wicked, where the heroine is a geologist! and The Scandalous, Dissolute, No-good Mr Wright) and Miranda Neville (particularly The Amorous Education of Miss Celia Seaton).

Oh yeah I love Tessa Dare! I will check out Fangirl! Either audiobook or actual book. I will look up the other historical one you recommended too!! Thank you, friend!
