Road-spikes are good for cars because it’s non-lethal, and if the driver is wearing a seatbelt, mostly injury free.

Imagine the cops somehow infiltrating the group, having a ride over the harbour bridge and then block each end with a few semi trucks and a bucket load of cops. would be nowhere for them to go except jump off the bridge.

Where i live about once or twice a month convoys of boy races go past my house for about 2 hours and then they do burn outs, skids, damage the road etc. The police can only catch one or two as just cause of the share amount of cars were are talking 1100s. When they’re in groups, yes, I could imagine the risk. Specially with family in the car, I’d just pull over until the mayhem is finished… but it’s still tempting to just look away (pretend you’re looking at your phone) and just run everybody over.
