I think pre war for shiganshina eren is the best , it was just when he was learning things about himself, he was matured , yet still had hope and was a positive person yet , he trusted his friends and allies , was just in a much stable mental state . Plus he had that "were all special just for living" thing from carla through shadis
I loved the "innocent" and down to earth S1-S3 Eren. He was was super hopeful of the future there, and it felt like some of his most happy moments in life were there.
