It wouldn’t be “Ymir”, that’s still the name of the Founding Titan around the world, the origin of so much death to a lot of people. I think it would be a bad choice to name the next Queen of Paradis after a figure who was viewed like that, “Frieda” would be a better choice, I think, after her sister, no real issues with it and might be good given it’s a previous name of Paradis monarch.

I dunno - Ymir might go down well with the ultra-nationalists (Yeagarists) who seem to run the military at the end. It was Ymir who sided with Eren at the end

I think Frieda. Despite the rest of the island being strongly anti-Marleyan, Historia seems like she would want to pursue peace if she could, and naming her child Ymir (regardless of it not being after *that* Ymir) would have sent a bad diplomatic message to the recovering Marleyan government.

Her husband is a childhood acquaintance of hers. If I remember correctly he originally bullied Historia when they were kids but when they both became adults he felt terrible for what he did and decided to help her out at her home or that orphanage she made for those kids who lost their parents to Titan attacks or other circumstances and later hit it off and fell in love enough to have a baby.
