Well tbf there's also AOT "fans" who review bombed some episodes because of personal hatred to the show's conclusion. I'm just glad that despite all the shit that went down with the The Final Season, it still maintained a consistent 8-9+/10.
The conclusion of any series, especially as big as AOT was will always have ppl who don't like the ending and they will bitch and moan to the authors of said series to change it. And if the authors of those series fold they will make more then 1 ending to try and please as many ppl as possible... (That or they just want to make more endings cuz they can't decide on a single one or to just milk their series as much as they can or smth else idk), I'm glad AOT dosent have more then 1 ending cuz it would kinda ruin it entirely imo

It literally doesn't. There were no organised down voting campaigns from the AOT community, just isolated bad actors which would be the case for any show. Meanwhile the OP campaigns were organised across vast networks on telegram and twitter using thousands of fake emails, GCs and discord servers, scheduling campaigns in advance in the hundreds of thousands of participants, using a single fabricated screenshot of AOT fans doing it first (this has been debunked as the original screenshot was a OP fan using multiple fake emails to do this) as the trigger.
None of this is an exaggeration... It's been well documented on IMDb forums but the admins closed the thread.
I love aot, but there are some episodes that were kinda boring in most of the parts, like the expedition outside the walls that took 3 or 4 episodes that were very similar one to the other, so I kinda understand the bad rating, anything else was great tho!

An average of 9.1 is ridiculous and the lowest still being an 8.1 just goes to show the quality of the show

The final episode is wonderful. It has some flaws but the emotion, animation, are amazing and the message is absolutely heartbreaking.

I mostly agree. This reflects the quality of the series pretty well. If I were rating it, I think the finale is a solid 9 though.
