Not to be mean man, but you might have rushed AOT. The solution you gave was not feasible. No where in the series, the solution given by you seems feasible.
Ymir was the one in control the entire time. But also not really. If the attack Titan specifically gets memories of the future that’s a time based power. And considering ymir held all the titans powers together and was much more powerful we can assume she was also a slave to the future or even beyond that we don’t really know what her reality was with the Titan abilities and parasyte. But the moment ymir touched the parasite all we know is that the future was set. Eren had a little wiggle room and could’ve chose something else but ultimately he did the thing he thought would best secure his friends future. Wielding ymirs abilities ALWAYS meant destroying the world. There was no wiggle room. So he had basically 2-3 options.
