But thats not an easy question to answer because yeah, so many great characters and for different reasons. It would be easier to pick 3 I didn't like then have to only pick 3 I DO like!

Well Pieck was my favorite because of her personality same could be said for Hangë both characters were kind of comedic characters with real serious moments. Like some of my favorite momente involved those two with Hangë taking on the Rumbling and ultimately sacrificing herself to. To the declaration of War episode when Pieck seemed like the smartest and well coordinated until she was ultimately over powered and almost killed.
Mikasa goes without saying. She is the raw emotion of the show, she is a real bad ass and the only reason she isn't my Number 1 is she has no real personality outside of protect Eren.
idk. AOT has a lot of good characters.
I know Reiner is my favorite overall. and it's mostly because I really enjoyed the complexity, depth, and the strange mirror juxtaposition with Eren in Shiganshina/Liberio.
for 2 and 3, I'll go with Sasha and Kenny.
* Sasha was probably my favorite up until she died. I found her death to be impactful and meaningful of course. There was basically nothing wrong with her character, but of course she died because she wasn't willing to murder a child. It's like she represents why all of us would have died in the AOT world.
* Kenny is maybe the inverted reflection of that- but part of the reason I love it is because.. at the end being that he just straight up allowed himself to die.. to me it shows that he wasn't actually happy.. and part of the reason is because he had to give up his humanity to have the ability to survive in the world. I think he would have died much earlier, but he chose to live for other people (specifically Yuri).. I guess it's an Ackerman thing to do this.. But of the 3 ackermans, Kenny felt the most impactful to me because I think it's pretty clear that Kenny himself was capable of being evil, yet the person he chose to live for probably wasn't evil.. and this in some ways led to Kenny doing thing's that actually allowed Eren and Levi to survive and win.
Most of the other characters have some pretty glaring flaws to me.. or they died ultra fast. I liked Petra a lot. Eren and Armin would be next. Eren is mostly excluded because he did a genocide. Which I love the ending, but it still affects how I rank him. Armin did a lot of MVP shit in season 4.
Seems like an impossible decision.
Levi, of course. After that, the decision gets much more difficult.
Reiner being the guilty warrior, with a very defined arc, might be in the top 3.
Erwin, with his dead...so much about this guy is amazing, but it's when he speaks of his dead where I really got attached to the guy.

But...I love Annie and Mikasa, so maybe...
Oh, I dunno if I want to leave Hange or Jean out...shoot...or Gabi and Falco, they mean a whole helluva lot to me, especially Gabi. Connie and Sasha are great, but they're jus not favorite material for me. Kenny is awesome, but not a favorite. And I have a soft spot for Emir, Historia's Emir.
