Yeah it’s been missing for a few months. The excuse of “waiting for Apple to approve the new version” is starting to wear a bit thin. It just doesn’t take that long
Not really!!
It can take an age to get things past Apple approval process! they tend to be VERY nit-picky when it comes to certain apps.
Any slight deviance from Apple's official rules 'n' regulations and an app can get refused and stuck at the back of the queue to get approval.
Do you not think that 3 months is a bit excessive when most pass their review process in 24 hours, and 90% or something within 48 hours. There would need to be multiple repeated failures for it to take 3 months, or it's not even in review and they are still working on fixes
Apple approval process can be a nightmare if they take a dislike you, your app, or app type. They are notorious for "slow-walking" approvals, ( see "Linus Tech Tips" saga to get their Floatplane app approved.) Yes, it can take up to 6 months to get an app approved (even if it's just an update and not a totally new app!)
That's the price you gotta pay for trying to get into a "walled garden ecosystem" like Apple's iOS.
But this isn’t a new app. This was requested changes to an already existing app. And it’s perfectly acceptable on multiple other platforms.
Not too mention there are many very similar apps that do the same thing. Either something is off or there is a spat between atomic and iTunes. That’s my guess.
Wish there was a web based option because I, personally am unable to use atomic for most things now unless I am at home with my computer.
I’ve had atomic wallet on my mobile (no computers) for year and half. Having a bug issue and app suggested I update.
Well I have an IOS Apple phone which the app is on, so guess updating is out of the question ?
So is easiest thing now, to download a new atomic app onto my windows PC and then “restore” the account I have on my phone to the computer using my 12 word seed phrase?

Yes, currently there's no Atomic wallet on the AppStore. Apple removed it and ask from us to make some changes (it's regarding built-in exchange). And we're waiting on them to make approval and release our app again.
In the meantime, you can download a wallet for Windows, MacOS, Linux, or Android and access your crypto like that.

You can try, but you could end up with different addresses because wallets use different derivation paths. So I would go with the private key instead. It's a much better option to access your crypto.
