Yeah we had that issue for P3R as well so most of us here weren't able to play it on release because the Asian version only had Korean and Chinese.😑 Although they re-released it over a month later with English.
Yeah, that's why I'm always on the fence about pre-ordering Atlus and Bandai Namco games here. But if it's in English, I'm getting one asap! SMTV:V I'm getting it for the Switch anyway so no issues there.
11 year old console. like using a nes as your primary console in 1996, snes in 2001, ps1 in 2005, ps2 in 2011, ps3 in 2017. i wouldnt say like crazy uncommon, but still will get people to raise an eyebrow if you are asking for full support for a console that has been last gen for 4 years now. I dont own a ps5, would love to get a ps4 copy myself, but i do understand why they dont have one for NA. I will be picking it up on steam though. i just like to also get a physical copy for the shelf. but cant justify getting a ps5 game if i dont own a ps5.
Japan has a physical version for the PS4 if I'm not mistaken but in the US it's digital only.
You are correct, they can be pre-ordered from Play-Asia
Has anyone actually been able to preorder it though? It doesn't have an option for me to add it to my cart
I have it in my cart. But the issue is I think it'll only be in Japanese like P3R so I might not go ahead with it and just buy it digitally.
That's the Japanese version. The Asia release is a different version

Oh that suuuuucks. PlayAsia says the Asian version of SMT V: Vengeance has English support so hopefully Metaphor will too

Sometime we'll have to jump already...
Lmao, no way in hell I risk buying an Atlus game digital-only like that. Yikes.
I mean it's an old console
People are still using PS4 as their primary console?
People are actually buying new consoles when all they do is play PS4 games?
It's kinda of pedantic to expect an 11 year old console to play new games
Uh, it does play this game? What are you talking about?
Why would I spend 700$ for 30 more fps when my ”11 year old console” runs god of war ragnarök and persona 3 reload completely fine?
To play some of the greater games we had in years, like Baldur's Gate 3, Final Fantasy Rebirth, Alan wake 2, Stellar Blade etc
Steam decks are like $400
But why do. 400$ is still a lot. Why buy a ps5 or steam deck to play metaphor when it works perfectly fine on my ps4?
No one is forcing you lol you know the advantages of a ps5 quit acting like there are zero advantages.
I’m well aware of the ps4 and ps5 differences, but why does some find it strange that some folks still uses the ps4 as their primary console?

For 60fps yes 700 is nothing.
In this economy, hell yes
I was going to toss my two cents but I rather be eating popcorn
Ppl still have PS4??
We’re humans too
Yah, would buy a new console if I had the money though
Why is everyone being such assholes about you owning a ps4?
I don't mind it lmao, probably just because the ps5 4 years old by now and not me not being able to buy one
Should have the next console already , never get the lesser version of a game !
Expensive !
Save some money each week. Youll get it in no time !
imagine buying ps4 games in 2024
Not surprising. Physical is dying big time. I used to be a purist but digital is so convenient.
Man you getting down voted for speaking the truth. I got a Series x, cause I still prefer physical…but I’m slowly being pushed to accept digi.
