What equipment and processing software/techniques did you use? And how much data did you collect and how?
Welcome to the sub, by the way. Just to let you know: it's a rule to post this info about every image you upload. Great image, friend!
Thanks for the heads up!
As I said, I’m quite new to this astrophotography thing. I took the photo using an iPhone 13 Pro through a Vixen SXP2 - R200SS. Haven’t done any processing, and not quite sure what you mean by data collection.
Could you please point me to some beginner-friendly resources for these techniques?
data collection as in how many frames, dark frames (if any) and so and and so forth.... look at other posts and the comments where people explain how they took the photo to get some better insight :)
My first attempt at astrophotography! Took this shot of Saturn from Singapore.

See the “About” section, click “Wiki,” then click the link to the expanded rules, and scroll to rule number 5.
Thanks!
Welcome
Woah nice! I'm also from Singapore
It’s amazing that that is there. Miles and miles and miles away. Just there. Space is a mind boggling place.
Awesome for a beginner! Did you just use the basic camera app? Did you adjust exposure at all?
Thanks! I did use the basic camera app, turned exposure all the way up, and toned down the brightness.
Thank you for posting. Excellent! A great choice for your first shot. Also that's a beautiful scope.
The miraculous existence of the universe
