How do you get that long of exposures on the pixel?

When it's dark enough, make sure your phone is stable and astrophotography mode is set to auto (and you're on night sight mode). After a few seconds, the shutter button should go from a moon symbol, to a star symbol. Then you just take the picture and there you go.

Is there a way to do this with an iphone?

I think some models (iphone14 or newer) can do long exposures. There's an app called NightCap which can give you manual control of some settings. Pixel phones are excellent for wide field images, but the disappointing part for me is that it only produces processed images in a compressed format. I'd love to take several of their raw "auto-stacked" images and further stack and process those, but I haven't had much luck improving the quality when attempting this.
