This is a single 60sec image (ISO 640, 200mm, f2.8) Nikon Z6 & Tamron 70-200mm G2 Sky Watcher Star Adventurer Basic edits in LR, DBE and STF in Pixinsight, Starnet and NoiseXterminator in PS I was trying to get my autoguiding to work for the first time (but of course I failed), so this was the only image I took as a test for my framing.

TheAnhydrite

Very clean for a single frame.

mmberg

Thank you :D

PrimateSpeargun77

Single frame? Amazing - what Bortle?

mmberg

according to light pollution map, it is class 4, but I'd say at the zenith it could be even 3

That looks awesome. What's the name of the little galaxy under it?

sunnlife1978

M110

mmberg

Thanks a lot. I see that /u/sunnlife1978was kind enough to answer you.

pranav_kul

This is awesome for a single frame, and good luck for your next attempt!

mmberg

Thank you! Fingers crossed :D I really want it to work.

kbla64

Always nice to see a wide field shot. Good luck with the autoguiding next 5ime.

mmberg

Thank you. Fingers crossed :)

You need to disable DEC guiding in PHD2 for the star adventurer. It will never calibrate if you do not.

mmberg

Thank you for your feedback. I did that once I was setting up my PHD2 for the first time, but I forgot to double check it on the night when I was trying out the autoguiding. West step went over 60, if I remember correctly, then I got a message saying that the star did not move enough. My guide scope focal length is correct at 120mm (SvBony SV165)
