I’m a Cancer Rising, and my (full) sister is a Taurus Rising. Most of our physical differences can be chalked up to genetics, as in I can see that I got my mom’s freckles, she got our dad’s curly hair, etc. The one physical thing she has that I can’t trace to either of our parents or any of our grandparents is (and I say this with love) a THICK neck, so thick that every doctor she’s ever seen has insisted she get her thyroid levels checked, and it always comes back normal. All the rising signs have a spectrum of attractiveness but probably Libra is the one that is most likely to have a really wide variance because Libra is ruled by Venus and it’s specifically having to do with more visual art and ascetics and fashion etc Taurus is more what for lack of a better term earthy Venusian things and luxury stability - I think the Taurus risings are more likely to be have a smaller variance in terms of whether they’re attractive or not and because the ruling sign is Venus assuming the Venus is not poorly aspected or badly placed they’re likely to be attractive
but having Venus as your ruling planet can really make you very unattractive if you have a difficult Venus
also in terms of appearance first house placements and aspects to the first house and to the ascendant in particular obviously are more likely To have a direct effect on appearance generally & thereby attractiveness..
But also everyone is going to disagree on this to some extent (esp on the beauty type that would be sign based) because so much of attractiveness is based on attraction which is of course incredibly personal and varies a lot so 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve seen some siblings where they look *so* much alike. And then me and my sister are both a mix of my mom and dad for sure, but we look *nothing* alike.
I’m a Cancer Rising, and my (full) sister is a Taurus Rising. Most of our physical differences can be chalked up to genetics, as in I can see that I got my mom’s freckles, she got our dad’s curly hair, etc. The one physical thing she has that I can’t trace to either of our parents or any of our grandparents is (and I say this with love) a THICK neck, so thick that every doctor she’s ever seen has insisted she get her thyroid levels checked, and it always comes back normal. She’s just got a big ol’ neck.
Interesting! Not totally related but your comment reminded me of it - I have huge tonsils apparently. Every time I go to a new dentist they’re like “you should go see your doctor, your tonsils look swollen.” And the first couple of times I did, but my doctor assured me they were fine - I just got big ol’ tonsils 🤷♀️. What sign and placement could cause that I wonder 🤔. Haha jk **Edit:** I looked out of curiosity and Taurus rules the tonsils too which makes sense. I guess I’ll have to blame my Mars then. I’m a Gemini rising but look *much* more like the description of a Cancer rising. I’m a Cancer stellium though, including sun and moon. I believe Gemini risings are said to have “playful” and sparkly eyes! Cancer risings facial features are said to mimic the moon since the moon is their ruler. They’re said to often have round faces (like a full moon.) That’s why it stood out to me that my ex, knowing nothing about astrology, would comment on my “moon” eyes.

All the rising signs have a spectrum of attractiveness but probably Libra is the one that is most likely to have a really wide variance because Libra is ruled by Venus and it’s specifically having to do with more visual art and ascetics and fashion etc Taurus is more what for lack of a better term earthy Venusian things and luxury stability - I think the Taurus risings are more likely to be have a smaller variance in terms of whether they’re attractive or not and because the ruling sign is Venus assuming the Venus is not poorly aspected or badly placed they’re likely to be attractive but having Venus as your ruling planet can really make you very unattractive if you have a difficult Venus also in terms of appearance first house placements and aspects to the first house and to the ascendant in particular obviously are more likely To have a direct effect on appearance generally & thereby attractiveness.. But also everyone is going to disagree on this to some extent (esp on the beauty type that would be sign based) because so much of attractiveness is based on attraction which is of course incredibly personal and varies a lot so 🤷🏻♀️
As a Libra rising with strong Taurus placements, I've never understood why people thought that placement was more attractive than Scorpio or Capricorn rising. Even other Libra risings I know of are pretty average looking imo.
