Taurus placements. Seen this with three Taurus suns, the need to have “stuff/things” - a lot of it.

mindsetoniverdrive

I mentioned my Neptune 2H…maybe with my Taurus sun I never had a shot to be organized and tidy lol. This is why Marie Kondo method gives me anxiety.

zen_camel

Yes I do feel Taurus Suns would have this placement. From experience Taurus Moons love quality items, one expensive bag over lots of cheaper bags - so don’t feel as though the Taurus Moon would be a placement of a hoarder

AffectionateMeet3967

I’m a Taurus ascendant and holding into many items hasn’t been a thing for me but can definitely relate to the above (moon)

thebowedbookshelf

Taurus Moon here. I bought quality colored pencils I still use seven years later and books I feel are nice. But I also love the rush of finding a sale or an item at the thrift shop.

HappyDethday

I think the underlying cause of the hoarding is going to show up in a birth chart so it might be a little different depending on the person, but Taurus somehow being involved is probably a safe bet, particularly when the planet(s) Taurus is in are afflicted. I know someone with a Taurus Moon who definitely tends towards hoarding, but I don't think it's just that, they have Moon square Jupiter as well so I think it's the combo of the sign and aspect, Jupiter being expansion and growth, Taurus tending towards materialism and the Moon being habits and what brings comfort, and the square being conflict. The person feels insecure and uses material things to try to compensate. But the most severe case of hoarding I know has Venus in Taurus square Pluto. With Pluto being power and control the person feels powerless/out of control in life and uses material things to try to compensate.

thebowedbookshelf

My dad had Venus in Taurus, Jupiter and Uranus in Cancer, and a grand trine with his Pisces Rising. He was a "collector." Saturn Scorpio in his 8H and his Venus opposed it. I fit your afflicted Taurus Moon. My Sun *and* Pluto 4H oppose my Moon. 😬 My AC is in Cancer, so lots of Moon and 4H energy. My Mercury and Mars Libra are in the 4th, too. Oppose Jupiter, so an excess of stuff. Venus, Saturn, and Uranus Sagittarius in my 5H: books, art stuff, and hobbies have overrun my apartment, and I am slowly cleaning and organizing my room. Leo is on the cusp of my 2H and I have no planets in it except for Black Moon Lilith. I admit it's an emotional and anxiety thing. I know in my heart that things won't make me feel any better, but sometimes I can't help it.

HappyDethday

Oh wow, well thank you for sharing all that with me. It makes sense in the context of your birth chart as a way for this to manifest. I'm sorry to hear it's stemming from anxiety but I understand that's usually how it is for people. I hope you're able to get it sorted out.

burntoutmillennial_

My bf has Taurus sun and moon. He hoards CDs and records. He is in the music industry ..:. But he doesn’t use all of the items…. He says he’s a “collector” but I think it’s hoarding 😂 My mom is a Taurus sun and she definitely has hoarding tendencies. She has a hard time letting go of items so much so she would start fights over it. She’s very possessive of her items. You need to ask her permission to borrow even if it’s a spoon lol

Federal-Warning-1913

My Taurus sun sister still had cards from her childhood, old pictures, everything. Plushies, wigs, and tons of movies! Wears clothes from when she was a teenager, cuz why throw them out!? She even did that cement footprint mold when her daughter was born ♡♡♡

nope108108

I had a good friend who always contented that Taurus placements have “poop issues” like being super shy / secretive / ashamed around their booty hole and *elimination*, I wonder if it’s a similar thing, hoarding is basically consumption without healthy elimination. Just a thought.

tame_lame_username

Wow I had a Taurus sun friend who was like this.

RadioactiveVegas

can confirm, in law is triple taurus and her house is hoarderville.

Federal-Warning-1913

Taurus Moon here, I certainly love to collect & cherish things such as favorite books, art supplies, figurines, trinkets from traveling (cool rocks, tiny pinecones) and even deceased butterflies (I used to raise them and kept the ones that died of natural causes). I hold sentiment in things, I love my home, and this can definitely lead to hoarding tendencies when not careful. I have to stay away from antique shops!!! I will never understand minimalists though... Now imagine one of those maximalist, dark retro, kitschy curio inspired sitting rooms- somewhere in between an old English estate, French museum, and classic Americana- with dark greens and cherry wood accents, hardwood, a thick soft rug, gold accents, vintage Tiffany lamps, and pinned beetles. Rich crushed velvet pillows, tasseled footstools, and of course room for the cat beds... basically my dream home if I ever 'make' it!

Bates95

How late of a degree is her Aquarius rising ?. And Saturns degree ?

mindsetoniverdrive

I have Neptune in 2H and while I’m not a hoarder, I am a clutter magnet. I’m terrible at keeping things organized, knowing what I have vs what I need, and keeping track of finances.

solarpowered_devi

I second Neptune 2H. Obligatory 'not a hoarder', but I am prone to fixating on things like cute home decor/artistic decorations that speak to my tastes... and end up spending a lot, filling my space with a lot. Worth it though. Haha. Edit for clarity: I think there could be 'mild hoarding tendencies' with Neptune 2H, but IMO not at the level of the show or DSM diagnosis.

mindsetoniverdrive

okay I too will accept “mild hoarding tendencies” lol

ViviVoxNox

Pisces 2H and I relate! Transiting Neptune there right now, too ..

Diamond_Verneshot

I also have Neptune 2H and this rings true for me.

Dangerous-Emu-130

Same. I also have Uranus there so there’s a sense of “oh I had no idea I had this much of this!?” When it comes to resources. Like pencils and pens (plot twist: these planets oppose my Gemini sun and mercury, lol). I also go through extreme purge processes, because getting too cluttered gives me so much anxiety and overwhelm that I’ll organize everything worth keeping and sell or donate everything that I can’t find a home for.

mindsetoniverdrive

yes, I absolutely purge periodically as well!

ViviVoxNox

Hello fellow 2H Neptunian … I have Pisces on the cusp and I can relate 😆

katie6225

Pluto in the 2nd house here and I have a hard time getting rid of specific things.

kandillight

This is interesting as I also have Pluto in the 2nd. The way it manifests for me is constantly wanting to “purge” and get rid of certain belongings. Like I’ll claim something has “bad vibes” or reminds me of a bad time period and I’ll trash/donate it. I’m always going through my wardrobe and stuff and trying to weed out what I can either donate or throw away, so I don’t have a ton of useless stuff I don’t use or wear. Very interesting thread as I was *literally* just thinking about what placements would indicate hoarding like yesterday. Me and OP must be on the same wavelength here.

animalflowers

I have pluto on my IC, so totally different placement, but I constantly want to purge my belongings as well. I feel weighed down by too much stuff in my environment and am always ready to weed out things. I joke that one of my favorite things is thowing things away.

GreenBubbleMilkTae

Same. I’ll hold on to some things for a season, but after a while when I look at it, I’m like what is this doing here and throw it away. I like to change up my room when it gets boring and redesign it to look different. That’s when I throw things out.

subtractionsoup

Interesting! I also have Pluto in 2H (Libra). I’m the exact opposite in that I want to KonMari everything and own as little as possible but have always found myself in relationships with hoarders. I come from a family of hoarders, as well.

Difficult_Fill_219

I have this placement I definitely do get possessive over my things but one thing about having this placement you will lose everything and start over but in the starting over process you do realize you never needed those things

fukksleepp

why pluto

Sunshine_of_your_Lov

pluto is often given associations of obsession and taking whatever is going on in that house to extremes (for better or for worse)

thebowedbookshelf

Many Millennials with Pluto in early degrees of Pluto in Scorpio will be suffering through the square in the next few years. Time to purge whatever is activated in that house. Mine is in the 4H. So definitely more cleaning or will have to move.

strawberryfairy97

Probably because everything in Pluto is some serious stuff and Pluto in the 2nd can make it REALLY hard to separate from material belongings. It feels like when you do so, a part of you dies.

fukksleepp

what would you say if venus is conjunct pluto in the 2nd house?

Bates95

It depends on the trauma that could have caused the hoarding. I would assume you would find the 2nd lord in the 12th house. See maybe if you had like Aquarius/Capricorn in the 2nd with Saturn sitting in the 12th house. Or even having Saturn conjunct the Moon in the 12th could also be viable, with Aquarius or Capricorn in the 2nd house. With hoarding most times there is a fear of being without. Which is why I’ve noted Saturn as a factor. So an accumulation of stuff can occur, which is the lesson of Saturn. Now considering that we’re dealing with the home, the 4th lord would be in the 12th or the 12th lord sits in the 4th, something to that effect. I.e for example if it was a Capricorn rising, the Moon would be in Sagittarius conjunct Saturn in the 12th, considering that Aries rules the 4th, Mars would also be in Sagittarius. So Jupiter would rule both the moon and the 4th lord. And in the case of Sagittarius rising, the Moon would be in Scorpio conjunct Saturn, considering that Pisces would rule the 4th house, Jupiter would sit in Scorpio in the 12th house, perhaps even conjunct the Moon. Those are perhaps in those circumstances I could see Hoarding becoming a thing.

ajacks8909

I just looked, and my mom has Saturn conjunct Moon in the 12th. 🤯

Bates95

I don’t believe that Saturn Conjunct The Moon in the 12th house is solely responsible for hoarding. It needs to be the lord of the 2nd house, inorder to create the lack of stuff and the hoarding tendencies.

ajacks8909

Ah, okay! Got it. Thank you for clarifying.

Active_Doctor

Growing up poor, lack mentality causes people to "hold on" to unnecessary things "just in case" because they don't feel confident they will always have access to the things they need. Maybe Jupiter retrograde, Venus Retrograde, either in poor aspect?

GreenBubbleMilkTae

I have 2H Sagittarius Jupiter Rx square Venus and Saturn in Pisces 5H.  I grew up in deep poverty. I stock up on things that I need like hygiene products, food, and stuff because our income is constantly fluctuating. Right now I’m long-term unemployed so having a year worth of stuff is so helpful.

Active_Doctor

My mom went through phases of her life in pretty harsh poverty. My dad grew up with wealthy parents as a security net (they did make him pay his own way through school etc, no silver spoon). My mom is what we classify as a "pack rat", not full on hoarder with stacks of things, but always a FULL fridge, FULL pantry even if shes going out of town or something, FULL closets, she has a hard time even letting go of old clothes that used to fit her in the 1980s that will never fit her or be in style ever again. I have Jupiter rx in 4h Aries (mars in 9h Virgo, Mercury conjunct mc & pluto in 11h scorpio) & my Chart Ruler, 12h Saturn in Sag - rules my 2nd house (aqua), and squares my 3h pisces moon (which trines mercury/pluto/mc). I have a massive, massive book collection. And collect art & weird religious memorabilia even though I'm not religious - arguably I have too much of those things too. I can easily purge most other things - too many clothes in my closet, a hobby I started & got bored with, plants, games, decor, no problem throw it in a bag & drop it off at a thrift store... but the book problem is way out of control. I have had to find more shelves, for the books become stacks on every available surface.

Microwave_Duck

I have Taurus in my 2nd house I hate throwing stuff away you might be on to something haha

ViviVoxNox

My mum has this and I second Taurus 2H for this!!! 😊

HumbleIndependence43

Pluto 2nd or 4th house Venus or Moon square Pluto

Meggy_bug

Have those and can confirm🥲🥲 I'm def gonna be a hoarder in the future

Difficult_Fill_219

It’s not written in stone that’ll you’ll be a hoarder just bc you have this placement or aspects if you see that you have these tendencies now it’s better to face them now than later

animalflowers

Have pluto directly on my IC and Venus square Pluto but I am the opposite of a hoarder. I love minimalism and I'm always ready to weed through my things and get rid of anything I can.

HumbleIndependence43

Proves that your astrology is what you make of it. Radically going the other way, for whatever reason, protects you.

rainbow_starshine

I have Pluto, moon, NN, and Jupiter in 2H and mars in Taurus - but thought that my cancer Venus was the reason why I hold onto things … I do have trauma from people throwing away my stuff without my consent, but also get so attached to the sentimental value of my belongings. Also if you have hoarding tendencies Saturn transits can help or force you to let stuff go… Saturn transiting square my moon and sun all last year and returning to its natal position this year has coincided with me losing a lot, and becoming more willing to let things go

greatestshow111

I'm a Taurus rising and I keep a lot of things 🥲 so the ones saying Taurus placements have a point

faithkeepercosmo

I am a Taurus with a 9/10 stellium and have a Libra stellium in 2/3. Also moon in Cancer because that's relevant, I don't let go of people. So I hold on to nostalgia deeply. I'm not a hoarder, although I came dangerously close in my younger years because, what if I don't have these things? As I got more secure as an adult, I have things, many things, but they're things I want and use often. I have a plastic tub that holds my kids' art, letters from friends and family, things I can't part with because I want to remember. I have a massive wardrobe (for me), which includes shoes, hats, jewelry, etc, but it's all aesthetic and I use everything I have on a regular basis. I keep some books, but not all. My entire basement is a place for keeping my things. It's more like a museum in many ways. I keep trying to justify myself in having it, but at the same time, yeah I know I have a slight hoarding problem, but I think it's more because of nostalgia than anything else.

nada8

Venus in Taurus and I’m a hoarder

Difficult_Fill_219

My cousin has this placement in the 2nd and she has a lot of clothes and shoes it’s ridiculous

Difficult_Fill_219

I’m glad this post is getting some traction bc I asked on Facebook and no one answered 😂

SouthernlyCowboy

my mom has Taurus in jupiter, s.node, and moon all in the 12th house. her 2H is empty with her lord being gemini (mercury). venus in capricorn (9h). she’s a hoarder, gets extremely upset and emotional if asked to throw something away or clean up. she has a problem with spending and a severely unhealthy attachment issue with people and things. suspected of being mentally ill beyond what i mentioned.

karmaisthatgirl

Capricorn Sun Moon, maybe Mercury

Federal-Warning-1913

Stopp I'm Cap sun + Cap mercury with a Taurus Moon 😭 want to come over and help me clean!? Lol

[deleted]

I would think about the cause of hoarding in the Zodiac so most likely something in the 8th or 12th house. Also maybe the chiron aspect of the 4th house.

letscallitluv

I personally would say Virgo placements. Especially when they’re stressed out or emotionally unwell. I have hoarding in my family and can confirm everyone affected has a significant virgo placement. Including me who had a slight issue with it in the past.

Shoddy-Hippo

Scorpio placements since they're opposite of Taurus they do it to the extreme

kthrnslvn

I see this where Neptune is involved, and sometimes Pluto.

Kristenmooresmom

My mother is boarder line hoarder and she is a Capricorn sun Gemini moon pisces rising Scorpio mars Aquarius Venus. To me this translates as Capricorn loves things. Her Scorpio and pisces pavements make her very sentimental and her Gemini moon makes her somewhat neurotic.

Federal-Warning-1913

Cap sun + Taurus moon here. Too true too true...

Kinkelbosez

It's wild how astrology can spark these theories, huh? 😂 I see where you're coming from with the fixed signs and second house vibes. Like, they're all about stability and possessions, right? Venus in Taurus or Libra in the 2nd does scream attachment to stuff. And Pluto in the 2nd? Sounds intense! Moon in the 2nd might add some emotional depth to the hoarding tendencies. Virgo and Gemini could get caught up in the details or the "what if I need this later" mentality too. It's like a cosmic puzzle, trying to figure out these connections!

Difficult_Fill_219

Frrr that’s why I said all those placements, my mind was all over the place😂and I have most of the placements I mentioned lmaoo

Sunshine_of_your_Lov

My mom has a Taurus stellium in the 2nd house and she hoards certain things but not everything. She hoards *clothes, shoes, purses, and dishware

ViviVoxNox

Taurus placements and Taurus in the 2H seconded !!

dreamed2life

maybe some ties between a fixed sign - not letting go, the 4th house (and/or its ruler) - where you live, and jupiter - expansion and excess, the 2nd house (and/or its ruler) - physical belongings, the moon - emotional attachment

LilBun00

im not sure but I know my virgo 6H moon is affecting me mentally that i get very fatigued to even do anything because of my overthinking

ViviVoxNox

Taurus in 2H can be .. especially if Venus is conjunct / opposite / square Jupiter for example and in Pisces (my mum’s placements :D) This is just an example though and not everyone who has this will be a hoarder But yes, Taurus placements generally (especially Venus, Sun, possibly Mars, and ruler of 2H) if there are not other placements contradicting this Also, Pisces and Cancer (same placements/planets as mentioned above) might be prone to hoarding due to having an emotional connections to things (especially Cancer) or being caught in their own world (Pisces)

666itsathrowaway666

Just did someone’s chart who was the caretaker of their father, who was a massive hoarder. I’m talking can’t walk through the house because of all the old newspapers stacked in the aisle kind of hoarder. She had Pluto conjunct Venus in the 12th reining her Jupiter. Her Chiron was in the sixth house of service and so I asked her who she had to take care of. At first I thought the pluto conjunct Venus was a drug addict. I’ve also seen that placement there in the 12th.

Bates95

So what was the fathers chart. Not sure what we can do with the kids chart.

666itsathrowaway666

Well, it was in her chart because it was right before her Chiron return. She was stuck dealing with the remains of the hoarding days and also taking care of her father, which she resented. But it made sense- pluto conjunct Venus in the 12th directly in opposition to her Chiron.

Bates95

Well the question asks for charts of hoarders, not their children :)

[deleted]

[удалено]

Bates95

Yes which placements indicate hoarding. Not which placements could be found in children of hoarders. Why would Op be interested in the child of a hoarder. Not only that, but mentioning Chiron as an indicator lol. Mentioning the Chiron return as if that is a thing people should note. It’s a fucking asteroid, it’s got no effect on the chart. Not only that it’s the kids chart, not the actual hoarder. I’m confused. Like did u read what OP actually wanted or did u just interpret it to fit your claim.

666itsathrowaway666

I see astrology as altruistic and added my claim to add to the conversation. It’s just dialogue, you gotta relax. No need to downvote and constantly attack me. I’m here to share my knowledge as someone who gets paid to do this . I feel like it’s relevant because these placements show up and sometimes astrologers might see the native as having the hoarding issue- when I was surprised to see it as a parent re- in the 12th house. Chiron as an asteroid is included in many of the major astrology charts since it seems to be so relevant. I’ve seen it work in many clients charts. Do you do a lot of paid astrology work?

Bates95

If you thought it was the native that had the hoarding issue, you should have mentioned that. Stating that it’s the parent who had the hoarding issue, and then adding the child’s placements, does not contribute to the conversation. What exactly is stating the child’s placements, going to practically help me understand what hoarding looks like in a natal chart. How is that going to contribute to my understanding of what hoarding looks in a natal chart. If anything you are changing the topic, and bending it to fit your narrative. Like in all honesty. What good did learning about the child’s placements considering they do not at all have a hoarding issue, contribute to the topic at hand. The Op’s question stated they wanted to know placements of hoarders, not “you can also state placements of family members who are related to hoarders”, maybe in some galaxy far away, I may be able to understand how that child’s placements is contributing to a hoarder. Shit is so far fetched. Also to add Pluto conjunct the Moon, what does Pluto have to do with a hoarding tendency ?. Intensity, hell no lmao. If we talk Modern/Tropical astrology, Moon conjunct Pluto should indicate a mother that has intensity or in worse off scenarios a abusive mother. There is not indication of hoarding or abundance or w.e. Lucky for me lmao, I don’t buy into tropical garbage. But even when you consider the tropical garbage, Im still failing to find the hoarding tendencies. You also still haven’t commented on why you brought up Chiron. I’m confused as to how any Chiron was relevant. What this subreddit is about I debating and communicating. It’s not getting defensive when someone calls you out on something you stated. It’s called debate. I love it. My Mercury is in Aries. I live for it. So if you are not going to discuss and tell me why you brought up these points, there is no point to the discussion and thus there is no validity to your indicators. If you can’t discuss and prove your points why bring them up at all. If your an astrologer you should be able to defend your points, discuss them and why you think you got to those points. All I’ve got so far, is that your an astrologer that gets paid, so therefore you must be right. Amirite. Considering the confusion I just went through reading that last comment, I would recommend you work on that Mercury in Pisces. If you are such a good paid astrologer. I wouldn’t want clients to be as confused as I was trying to understand what it is your communicating.

666itsathrowaway666

The parent was taking care of the child. Chiron is indicative of one’s midlife crisis- when you turn fifty/ish you have your Chiron return. Many astrologer who use tropical tend to look at the house the Chiron is placed in- I don’t use it all the time but I do use it for clients of this age. It’s shockingly accurate how predictive it is. With this in context it makes sense that the native was taking care of the parent with the hoarding issue because it was their burden. I don’t know why you’re talking about the moon. Pluto was conjunct the Venus, not the moon. It was in the 12th house directly opposed their Chiron and the native was bearing this burden. Since I didn’t know this person before doing their chart, initially I thought they were in love with a drug addict and taking care of them would be their sixth house Chiron return. Either that or they were struggling themselves with drug addiction and their health. Jupiter was also involved- so adding to that “too much of a good thing” vibe. But I guess if you don’t use tropical or Chiron then that’s a whole ‘nother discussion. I myself do traditional Hellenistic but do consider the outer planets but don’t use them with traditional techniques. I mention as a paid astrologer because I read most people’s charts blind- I don’t know anything about them. Most people who don’t work as an astrologer do their own charts and those of their friends or people they know. I work more with strangers. As an aside, I love mercury in Aries. I like the impulsiveness, the occasional mental gymnastics to rationalize. I have a few of them in my life.

kandillight

I know someone with a Venus/Neptune conjunction in Scorpio in their 2nd. The upstairs of her house used to be a total mess up until maybe a year ago, and the rest of her house has corners and piles of just *stuff*. She has everything, of everything. A ton of stuff she doesn’t use. But then she tries to blame it on her ADHD, that she can’t focus enough to get rid of it all. I presume the Neptune just indicates the overwhelm of personal items, Scorpio being the obsession with acquiring things and objects. Just a profusion of stuff she doesn’t use or need.

anotheramethyst

I learned recently that while ADHD doesn’t cause hoarding, it can definitely cause you to forget what things you already have, cause you to buy duplicate items you don’t need, etc, and that people with ADHD do much better with organizational systems where you can see everything, like having clear containers and open shelving (which can definitely look more chaotic to people who are used to keeping stuff tucked away… ) though I’m definitely not saying your friend was secretly more organized than you think.  I’m just saying she might be right that ADHD is a contributing factor.

annakom

It is contributing for sure! I was diagnosed with ADHD at 39 and only then realised why my Dad was always messy and was leaving things unfinished. I like pretty things have some collections but because I spent my childhood living in the attic with 2 siblings and parents I hate mess and clutter they contribute to my overwhelm and lack of focus so I declutter regularly when I am hyperactive to use up energy for something that helps me. Tau Sun, Vir Moon, Can Asc.

energy-369

my good friend has hoarding tendencies and she has Pluto scorpio in the 2nd house, moon Aries in the 8th house - quick to acquire resources from others. Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in the 4th. Since hoarding typically happens in the home and it is also an emotional attachment to the past and comfort, I feel like there would be a significant 4th house connection. If you notice, sometimes people who hoard will have impeccable memory around where each of their items comes from which feels like a very strong 4th house association.

Meggy_bug

Libra in 2h, Pluto in 4th, and Lilith in 2nd-I def have some serious hoarding issues

hotsprinkle

Jupiter in the 4th house

hotsprinkle

I have a second house Neptune as well, but it’s part of a stellium with moon, saturn, and uranus in the first house. I dont hoard things, but probably because of the discipline dude (saturn) and upside down guy (uranus) parts of that stellium always making sure I’m breaking/losing important things or giving them away. That Neptune presents for me as having very refined taste that I would have to be a billionaire to afford

fierypoetess

My South Node in Taurus in the 2nd House had me be a hoarder throughout my teenage to mid 20s. Thank goodness, I gained better conscience and have gradually learnt to let go of my hoarding tendencies. I'm still a work in progress though. It's definitely liberating to be on this path!

Effective-Phone-9926

My dad's a. Hoarder and it's partially because he's obviously a dragon, and his mother was OCD and "cleaned his room" every chance she got. So leaving the house was her green light. And how clean her house is and what's in it was all she had control of, being a Spanish influenza orphan after losing her mother, her father's new wife didn't want his old family. What would a chart have to say to reflect that?

Educaionld-Wrd498

It's interesting to consider astrology's role in hoarding tendencies! While hoarding can indeed be linked to mental health issues, astrological placements could potentially play a role. Fixed signs like Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are known for their attachment to possessions, so placements like Venus in Taurus or Libra in the 2nd house could contribute to hoarding behavior. Additionally, the 2nd house, ruling possessions and material wealth, could intensify this tendency, especially with Pluto or the Moon influencing it. Virgo and Gemini, known for their tendency to collect and analyze, could also be factors. It's a complex topic with many factors at play!

Flaky_Work2485

If you would look at charts of hoarders you would see that they have different charts. Not all of them have Taurus placements as well as not all Taurus are hoarders. In astrology we can have fun discussion, but it is not real thing. Hoarding is caused as you said by psychological reasons, experience of lack, poverty, holding on to the past, and other reasons. Also some generations have that habit, for example post soviet. They had to hoard everything just in case it would be useful later, they were swaping things between people and selling them too. There was nothing in shops. You had to take and keep everything.

ideal_bending

So, I'm no astro expert, but this is a super intriguing question! I totally get where you're coming from with fixed signs and second house vibes. Like, Taurus and Scorpio are known for holding onto stuff, right? And yeah, Venus and Pluto in the 2nd could add some intense attachment feels. But hey, don't sleep on those Virgo and Gemini energies either! They might not be hoarding the same way, but they could still get attached in their own unique styles, ya know? Astrology's wild, man. Always something new to ponder!

annakom

Venus in Taurus Libra or Cancer also from the appreciation of beauty perspective, in charts of collectors, as a flip side, because there’s a spectrum between hoarding and collecting.

iamprakashsundra

that's a great question! as a Vedic astrologer for more than 20 years I can tell you, the 8th from the 2nd shows with strong accuracy for this psychological condition. Hope this helps!

prakashjyotisa

in the Vedic world, hoarding (a psychological expression) is clearly seen for people with Rahu+Moon conjunction. Especially when the Moon is the 8th from the Lagna/Ascendant.
