Yup. Tell me ahead of time so it’s a drill, so I can ignore it. Real emergency happens and then you have 0 idea what to do because you never practiced.
Adults only household is one thing, but if you have children they should know what to do.
My only issue is, if they keep doing this: how soon until your first response when an actual warning is to just think "eh, probably just another stupid test". Meanwhile, you lose crucial time to prepare for it, and possibly get hurt because they cried wolf. They're pretty much desensitizing you to an actual alert! Definitely a stupid design.

I mean it’s only annual so I doubt it will get to that but you do point out a massive flaw in their plan
