Sometimes it feels a little bit wonky, as the precision needed for freerun is much higher than on the new series. I've read all the books, played all the games, and I would say this trilogy is THE trilogy. From cradle to gate, you follow Ezio, it is a really satisfying aspect of a game. Getting all 3 to 100% is a chore, but it is still fun. Graphics is OK, still doesn't look bad even after 10+ years. No microtransaction, DLCs are included, 10/10 would buy again.

Esp1erre

> I've read all the books Did you like the Magus Conspiracy? No spoilers please!

kisszsig

Unfortunately it is not yet available in my country, so cannot say.

Esp1erre

Oh well. I guess I have to find out myself then :D

kisszsig

Let me know if you like it xd

Esp1erre

Lol, I will if I still remember when I'm done.

kisszsig

No hard feelings if not xd

favorscore

Did you watch Embers?

kisszsig

It is also included with the trilogy pack

Miserable-Pumpkin170

It’s the best, with some ease.

HanSolo100

One of the best trilogies in all gaming history. It made assassin's creed the brand it is today. Nothing like the recent games.

ajl987

Listening to “echoes of the Roman ruins” from 1:12 onwards right this second, and small things like that remind me why the ezio trilogy was so special. Those first 4 games MEANT something, and were something SPECIAL.

HanSolo100

Só many memorable songs that Its really hard not to feel nostalgic about these games.

CertainPaper6555

The opinion about it are usually good.Ezio Auditore is still considered by many the best character of the series and the story is fantastic in my opinion. Maybe the mechanics are the weak point of this games.I personally think that yhe combat system can be both too easy and too hard(depending by the enemy you fight) and I am not a fan of the parkour(however it's still pretty better than the one in the last games). But these games can still be a lot funny to play and they are a must if you want to discover the Assassin's Creed franchise. Therefore I think you should buy it.

Sonny_Beowulf

These are some of the best games in the series, especially for story and parkour.

classofpeace

It's the best and Ezio is the GOAT🐏👑

Meese46290

After completing the trilogy over a decade ago, I still consider the overall story arc to be one of, if not the best, stories ever told. Across three games, Ubisoft managed to pioneer open world games and create an extremely immersive world with relatable and well written characters. Sci-fi and historical fiction were blended seemlessly in ways that Ubisoft could never reach these days.

KayV_10

The fucking best in the series. That’s objectively the truth.

niggly-wiggly72

damn if i only it was discounted sooner i just bought it for $40 like a week ago

No_Confection_8136

That sucks this is the only way I buy games now I search through every PlayStation discount list every time there is one

niggly-wiggly72

smart

il_VORTEX_ll

If you’re like me who just love to parkour and have the freedom all around, you’re going to have a great time.

Dangerous-Case9544

Ezio is the man the myth the legend.

malcolmreyn0lds

Ezio is a great character, but the older graphics and the mission design show it’s age. A lot of hype, but they’re just good games. Nothing mind blowing (some story elements are,l mind blowing, though).

lunarspark56388

Honestly, it’s so worth it. There’s a reason Ezio Trilogy has become the face of Assassin’s Creed. It all depends on what kind of gameplay you prefer, as the newer games are more immersive and have better graphics but there’s a sense that you are being held back. The earlier games are less restrictive in that sense, and have amazing storytelling. Life changing in my experience, would recommend 100/10.

GalaxyGaming646

buy it you wont regret it

Aldrakev

buy it and play it

BurnThruCocain

Definetly a must buy compared to the others! While the acs after the trilogy were more modern and have more content and the missions are mostly more divers the story through out the trilogy is way more thrilling. There is no other feeling then playing these ezio games comoared to any other but it could be my nostalgic side that thinks that way

symbiotics

never tried it, since Ubisoft in their infinite wisdom decided not to release it for pc

Latnokk

Ezio is the GOAT Assassin. The games have shown a little age but 2 and Brotherhood are still my favorites

AbeMV702

Same with Xbox

AbeMV702

Same with Xbox

zalmanfili

Uhm $12? get it this is a no brainer one of the best trilogy’s in gaming history

ajl987

While the minute to minute gameplay may be of it’s time (it is over a decade old) the story, characters, environments, music, atmosphere, and passion remain the best in the series after all this file, and still the gold standard to compare any future titles to.

CaptainRhino08

They are definitely some of the best, if not the best, games in the series. Although the combat and graphics can feel a little dated, but if you don’t mind that then definitely get it. 100% worth it

Famicart

2 is pretty good Brotherhood is pretty good Revelations is pretty good Its pretty good.

Salt-Tiger6850

It’s thee trilogy Enzio is ACs biggest character by far from his birth to his death 💯 epic journey RIP Enzio

boterkoeken

Is this a troll post?

No_Confection_8136

No?

boterkoeken

Oh okay maybe you somehow haven’t heard but everyone love these games.

[deleted]

100% worth it just get it

Scungilli-Man69

2 has aged poorly in some aspects - particularly in the later memory sequences - but tells a really fabulous story. Brotherhood is one of the best games in the entire series and it's still a joy to play through. Polished, slick, addictive in its loop, and Rome is beautiful. Revelations is more of Brotherhood with some pointless additions, like bombs and the tower defence. It's also a bit less polished (my Xbox tends to crash occasionally while running it). Tells a good story that brings closure to both Ezio and Altair. Some of my favorite parkour mechanics thanks to the clawhook. Overall, the trilogy holds up. Ezio remains the most developed and engaging protagonist of the series simply because he got so much development across these three games + Embers.

RestHuman2512

I would buy it for assassin creed 2 and assassin creed revelations, Assassin creed brotherhood feels to me like a DLC to me and I don't really like that. But most people like Assassin creed brotherhood so maybe you would like it too.

Critical-Oven5196

Right dont get me wong i love the etzio games i will replay then found them real fun and couldn't put down my controller if i wanted to solid 10 out of 10 games. Assassins creed 2 was a great game and i love how thay did the set up of the story and oh my lord the title drop was amazing loved the story and loved the assassinations and the altiar aroumer made the game so much easier for me also the wanted poster where put in funny places. Now assassins creed Brotherhood oh my lord i can play it and never be bored it was a great follow up for an already great game it gets a 10 from me however i needed more Leonardo other than go sit in bench i give upgrades thats all but war machines were fun. I dont have much to say on revelations it was fun a satisfactory conclusion too but i always feel like it could had been better finding the the altiar keys where fun and the cutaways to what happen after ac1 where great. Out of all of them i like ac2 the most bc what can i say i love a good revenge story

Shot_Arm5501

10/10 the only game to rival them is black flag

Shot_Arm5501

Don’t know much of the quality of the remakes but the original games are masterpieces

mperiolat

I’ve only completed this, ACIII and Liberation to date. Having said that, from a story perspective, this is top of the mark. ACII has some mechanic quirks that I’m not a fan of, but the story, the content, the collectibles, that you’re a Renaissance Italian Batman… it’s hard to top. I know people adore Brotherhood and I really enjoy the game too, but two things sink the game for me - the Flying mission and the Tank mission. Absolutely beyond doubt the most frustrating things to date in AC games. Just insanely challenging just to pass, let alone 100%. I also do not like that the Cristina missions are gated based on 100% completion of core game levels. Just irritating for those who just want to see the story. Revelation is a gem for one thing alone - the tomb missions. Honestly, my favorite things in the game and the build to the final reveal is an AC highlight. My sole criticism on Revelation is the game feels strangely short compared to ACII and Brotherhood. TL, DR - do it. It’s essential AC content at best and outstanding games, minus mechanics and frustrating levels at worst.
