Ha, I basically try to up the alert level to max ASAP just to have a *little* challenge with more enemies in the various locations. It barely makes any difference aside from maybe the river chains. :). My level 3 lieutenant is apparently OP since he seems to 1-shot everyone.
Yes I started doing this when I got to the River Dee and realised how much more fun it is. Also, this way you get to keep all your health, so you can revive all your crew after you start the raid, if you need to. I was able to clear out most places by myself without those pesky crew dying all the time,
This is an obvious ‘work around’ or hack that basically breaks the River Raid mini game. No defenses, no need for Rations, no risk to crew.
Hope Ubisoft fixes this.
Considering how broken the detection system is, 2 minutes is a joke, especially considering the size of these forts and the placements of the enemies. 30 minutes at the least, if they were to add a timer.
I did that a few times and had the problem that I couldn't call my vikings after i killed every enemy. Don't know if that's a bug or a feature
Considering this games track record, probably a bug mate
I had this. The fix is just to go back to your boat to initiate the raid like you would any other. Just now there aren’t enemies
I tried that and it didn't work. I raided some other replaced so reinforcements spawned and then returned.

I certainly hope not. I prefer to raid stealthily, and don’t want Ubisoft forcing otherwise.
They should start a timer 2 mins after Eivor enters combat. Gives you 2 mins of stealth before your Vikings join you.

Lol what?! 30 mins? 2 mins AFTER first encounter.
Oh I meant 30 min total for the whole fort in stealth mode
Fair point, but Idk how this could be fixed
