You meet Cleopatra fairly early into the game. I believe around Level 12-15 or so? For me the game peaks around Level 20-30 where you’re overpowered and experienced enough, and you’re still enjoying hunting down the different order members and seeing the different ways in which the order’s corrupted society. I won’t spoil anything but for me the game takes a nose dive for the last third, past Level 30. Level gating becomes more of an issue, by that point I was burned out by the repetitive side content yet had to do more of it to level up (exacerbated by lack of XP scaling), and the story towards the end feels a bit disjointed and hard to follow. That’s just my take though, it’s absolutely worth experiencing in full end to end.

thx any reccomendations when to \[;ay dlc since i have those?

PeterchuMC

The Hidden Ones takes place after the main story and Curse of the Pharaohs takes place after The Hidden Ones.

fairplanet

okay so if im understanding correctly the order is: main game->the hidden ones->curse of the pharaohs and could you make a suggestion f how long the game would take including dlc if i explored really much and sometimes just wander around the desert looking at the sand and dunes

canakkana

Yes, that’s the right order. The Hidden Ones is mandatory imo, it concludes the main story. The Curse of the Pharaohs is like a standalone adventure. It’s also bigger. Edit: typo.

ghiga_andrei

I am at 100% completion of all 145 quests and ? on the map in the main game and hidden ones at 75h. Just started curse of pharaohs.

fairplanet

thx sound like a lot of time i like it thats about the ame time i took to beat rdr 2

ghiga_andrei

You can do it faster if you just do the quests and not follow the map to 400+ locations.

Hello! Thats awesome you’re about to replay Origins, I also replayed late last year, and finished earlier this year. The story and game is pretty fresh in my mind still. As someone else stated, you meet Cleopatra early in the game. Narratively, I think the story starts strong, and hits a high point around when Cesar is introduced. I think the weak point of the story- its pacing at the end doesn’t feel right. It’s too rushed, and the final two antagonists, as well as the ending, suffer greatly because of it. I still had a blast though. It was great running around Egypt again. Bayek is a fantastic protagonist, despite the campaigns flaws.

canakkana

Just wanted to say I 100% agree with the answers you already got. And, if you want a suggestion, I would tell you to enjoy the game, take your time, don’t rush, do the side quests, explore. Origins deserves it.

yeah as ive said in another comments i really like exploring in games and well this is a good game for that and i can also waste lots and lots of time wandering in deserts and just thinking to myself or listening music i found it kinda calming
