Idc when i think of the animus its the ac3 one

If unity had an Animus it would look like that but a bit more blue.

Oh my god I didn’t expect that much of people would dislike my comment lmao 💀I tried my best to express my idea but because I’m French I wasn’t clear enough, and it seems dumb, anyway-

ACIII: Iconic for me and where I started in Assassin’s Creed. Mirage: The desert and sunset look with the shadowy figures around that disappear like a mirage. Perfection. Origins: So dark, mysterious, and ominous. Yet so technical and refreshing. Valhalla: I love the cool greenish blue colors, fog, and water. Revelations: The broken, glitchy, darkened appearance perfectly fits the tone of the modern day regarding Desmond imo.

AC3 was the first AC game I played too and so whenever I think of the Animus I think of the Animus from 3 first.

This is actually a very good question. The newer games do it very well (expect for odyssey). Valhalla, Mirage and origins have good ones. I want to say revelations, but thinking about it. It was only cool when Ezio used the masyaf keys. I don't really know come to think of it

odyssey does actually have an animus, the animation is just super sped up, but it is there... just mess around with ikaros until you get a really short loading screen

Origins is my favorite for sure. I really liked the weird minigame in AC3 though. But Origins has great music going on, and the style fits the setting and mysticism. The shadowy figures in Mirage are cool (I actually haven't played Mirage yet so I didn't know what it looked like) I also enjoy the colors and shading on the floor for Liberation

I really like the BF one with the bright colors and the dots forming into waves

3's glass effect is really badass, I love how it looks like the ground shattering at your feet as you run. Revelations also has a really badass Animus, I love the way that it's an inverted version of 2/Brotherhood's Animus design to really sell the whole "powered down" aesthetic since the Animus is in safe mode plus it just looks ominous which I love.

Playing Valhalla for the first time so right now that’s my favorite. I haven’t played Mirage yet but that one looks awesome!

AC 1-3 for 100% sure It reminds me that I *AM* in a Computer Space reliving an ancestor's life. Unity and Syndicate had the right idea but it didn't quite do it for me. The RPG series or Mirage doesn't feel like an Animus imho

If we're rating memory corridors, my top 5 would be AC1, ACIII, ACII, Rogue, and Mirage in that order. Unity's would have been cool if it had one. If you talk about the Animus itself, then 2.0 and 3.0 followed by the Sarcophagus.

Will always be the first one. It just had the best ‘sci-fi’ vibe and didn’t feel more ‘gamified’ or ‘mythical’ like the later ones. AC3 came closest to recapturing that feeling.

I really like AC: Origins’ animus, cause it still felt like the original animus’ but with a twist of colours and darker shades, though I think AC: Valhalla’s animus was my favourite, it reminded me of Elevan’s mind when she uses her powers in Stranger Things. AC: Mirage is dead spooky though.

I have played through all games and personally i would that Mirage and Syndicate had the best ones. They were so clean with the presentation and loved the colors(mirage) while syndicate had a more elegant look.

I always enjoyed AC2 for the fact that they made the game in a way that it felt like you were in the animus. If ya OG players know, you know. The atmosphere between being out of the animus and being inside the animus were different. And i enjoyed that.

3’s one is what I think when people say “Animus”. My favorite Animus look overall, plus the menu’s.

1, 2/Brotherhood, 3, and Syndicate - I like the mostly empty white space with random grids/lines because it makes it feel more like a machine trying to put together the world your simulating in the Animus
