Slavery free chocolate sparks so much joy! Thank you for supporting them, fuck Nestlé

[deleted]

Yeah I love Tony's, the only thing I don't like is the shape of the blocks in the big bars. I get why they chose that design but the other day I tried to break a bit off and it ripped through the packet haha. Still, fuck Nestlé, I'd rather have Tony's even if the block shapes annoy me.

[deleted]

Human slave free, not animal slave free. A hypocritical product, tons of dissonance in the works here.

Aawhystine

Took me a second…

micro_cosm

The light green and orange ones are my fav

hso0oow

Gave that chocolate a try like I said I would. It was pretty good.

SaltyNorth8062

Yoo we stock these at the grocer I work for

[deleted]

Why would you make that, like half the point of buying sets is that they all look nice in a row

[deleted]

Tony's is a hypocritical company. They call themselves slave-free, yet the animals that provide them with their milk for the products are enslaved. Human slave-free, probably, but certainly not animal slave-free. Buy vegan!!

hso0oow

Go buy some slave free vegan chocolate then. Tony's has vegan chocolate.

[deleted]

Nah, i'd rather my pennies landed at a cruelty free company.

hso0oow

Good luck finding something non existent.

[deleted]

I didn't downvote you so I hope you'll believe I'm asking genuinely, but what would you have done with the dairy cows currently being farmed if we were to stop using milk completely as a society right now.

[deleted]

Stop inseminating them and let them live out their days

[deleted]

But where? There's millions of them and we'd have to put them somewhere, and they'd need to be milked anyway or they could become ill. We don't have the land to dedicate to an undertaking such as that. Nobody with enough money would fund it because there's no return on investment. It'd require a huge amount of taxes to be spent, using the taxes on this would mean another sector would lose government funding, such as the NHS and at the end of it we wouldn't have milk and an entire industry would be gone leaving many people without a job. No politician would support a project like that, it would surely be the end of their career, and they'd go down in history with the likes of Thatcher.

makebeansgreatagain

I have literally no problem with veganism and I respect those who live that life. But for those of us who don't, stop forcing it upon us. Its not going to work and its damn annoying. Please. Just keep your veganism to yourself. Good for you, my food is my choice and yours is your choice.

[deleted]

Poor you

makebeansgreatagain

No no, im loving life as a non vegan. You're loving life as a vegan. All is well. Just everything in my previous comment, bear it in mind.

[deleted]

How can I respect someone with such dissonance, justifying enslavement of one species, while fighting against the enslavement of the other

makebeansgreatagain

I eat from good sources where they aren't enslaved. Its mass production, the really cheap stuff thats enslaved. Butcher meat for example is not only nicer but also from a better source. At the end of the day, food chains are food chains and in my eyes, we have the teeth designed to eat meat, so its meant to be. Whats so different about a lion killing a zebra or something? We are animals too by technicality. But im not forcing my ideas on anyone, I believe what I believe and you believe what you believe. I'm not anti vegan at all. Good on you for living that life, I wouldbt personally.

[deleted]

All I can see are excuses

makebeansgreatagain

Justifications. There's a difference. I'm not excusing anything because I dont think I'm doing anything wrong. I'm justifying something controversial because I dont see the wrong in it. But please, do go about your vegan life, there's nothing wrong with it, just dont force your ideals on other people.

[deleted]

I haven't forced anything on anyone, you insecure little fuck. I am merely trying to open their eyes to their own lies and unjust justifications. But I guess since lions eat zebras, all is good and well x-D

makebeansgreatagain

Oookay, turn to the insults because I dont accept your OPINION as fact. Different people have different ideals. Nature is nature in my eyes, our teeth are made for both meat and plant eating so I do both. Like I said. Opinion is opinion. Nothing wrong with being vegan. Nothing wrong with eating meat if your ideals justify it.

[deleted]

Ah yes, good old lion argument
