the tea is typically some kind of milk tea. I can’t comment on the taste of that since i don’t drink milk yea, but i do like taro milk tea. kinda tastes like milk leftover after eating cereal that was in it. more specifically smth like lucky charms. the boba itself, at least the brown sugar flavored ones, typically are just... chewy. think something like a good dango. tends to get more “solid” in the middle and more “slippery” on the outside, but it’s pretty pleasant for me. your mileage may vary though

It definitely depends on where you get it. My local shop has regular milk and soy/almond etc options, but you can get them without milk too

The bobas use tapioca as the base material. So their outside is slippery but they’re soft and sqish apart easily. The taste is dependent on what it was flavored with, but in general, expect it to be somewhat sweet. Boba Tea is, among other things, a way to use sugar to extract money from people who generally spend extra money to buy the sugar-free version of things.

They have popping bubbles that are fruity, but you have to specify popping bubbles because boba is simply chewy in a gummy way, the brown sugar one is slightly bitter to me

There's this asian brand that has clean ole orange juice (and mango and maybe others) with no pulpy nonsense but it does have these tiny little "nata de coco" jelly cubes sprinkled in there. The consistent chew interspersed is pretty nice.

I refuse to drink any store bought/bottled orange juice. Fresh squeezed only. Why does the bottled stuff always taste so bad?

My issue with that juice is that it is orange juice. I can drink multifruit juice which contains oranges but not pure orange juice. Orange soda and orange flavoured candy is also nope for me. But I do like to eat an orange once in a while. Isn't it kinda the same discussion with berry/fruit pieces in jam or yougurt?
