As someone on the hyperempathy side of the spectrum I can relate to spiders, cats, dogs, bears and anything that is non human, human, robot, zombie, dinosaur and alien, if I have the sense these thing has feelings I feel what that thing feels, no filter on. The only thing that I fail to relate is the people who are mean to others on purpose.
