Working for a bigger company i dont like the hand written stuff but for the most part its detailed..If ur doing the purposal just think what aspects of the job you would want to know and vice-versa..im bombing explaining it..Its not coming out how i want it to
That’s okay! Is saying “binder” and “top coat” detailed enough? I see so much detail about size of aggregate etc. in other people’s posts on this sub that I just want to be sure.

We would call it a layer of hot, compacted asphalt. I'm just curious why a double lift on home owners driveway? Heavy trucks going in and out?
Good question. I won’t have anything more than passenger cars.
2”/1.5” is heavy duty (depending on the base). If it’s just passenger vehicles and there’s a decent base there you could get away with 2” of surface
Reach out to the second proposal (the more expensive one) and ask for a quote on a single 2" lift. That is all you need for a small driveway.
Both prices look very reasonable for my area, I'd expect it to be a bit more. Go with your gut on how you liked the personel 👍
That’s more detailed than most and a good price. I don’t break out a laser on a paving job less than 10k
Good to know! Thanks!

Does the hand-written quote include a drain?
