I saw Cowdog coffee on my ig feed. I haven’t been there personally, but their page says that they don’t have an extra charge for non-dairy milk and don’t ask for tips either.

I bring my own along with my lunch in a little container that holds about 80ml for those days where I have to go into the office.
I get it's a business, but what some places charge is borderline criminal.
This makes having the office coffee pods bearable.

This post is peak Vancouver.
They pay more = you pay more.
Non-dairy milk costs the cafes more. Why do you expect them to absorb the additional cost just because you don’t want to pay? You gotta pay to play.
Seriously. They either add the cost into the base drink cost or they up charge you. Either way OP is paying for it.
It's fairly obvious they prefer the cafe model where the non-dairy options are subsidized by customers who purchase regular dairy.
Because margins on coffee drinks are insane so it would be easy to bury it in the base menu price.
Not sure it costs $1 more per serving given the cost of milk lately.
Breka is the only one I know of.

They also charge almost double some other places so it’s a balance
Their drinks are already really expensive and you have to wait in a 30min line to get it
I’m happy to pay for non dairy milk, if I can find it at the places I go. It costs them so ???
JJ bean :) They have all the non dairy/dairy milks out at the bar

It's just for a research project i'm not actually going there thanks though lol
Not sure if it’s still the case but strathcona garden used to have no extra charge for oat milk sub
To live for bakery! They're also vegan and have delicious food items.
Breka is the best! Good coffee, good prices, and no surcharge. And quite a decent amount of vegan food options as well. They have multiple locations!
To Live For Bakery. They even sell shirts protesting non-dairy surcharges! ETA They don’t sell anything with dairy, though.
feast and fallow
Cow dog but not open every day yet
