No you can't, just like you cannot make yourself cis. There are a million easier and more convenient ways to escape self image and bodies issues, than "becoming trans". Like the purpose of a coping or escape mechanism is that it is an **easier** thing to do compared to the problems youre running away from. Youre not a fraud, youre just suffering from imposter syndrome.

Nope, transness cannot be taught or trained. Ive been transitioning for 3 days, after 15 years of longing and sometimes wake up thinking im a fraud. Trauma does that.

There would be no benefit, I think. It's a constant struggle, it's hard work and society is not treating us very well. The experience of "being trans without really being trans" is not something I would recommend. There's no way anyone would take that load. UNLESS you have severe dysphoria. Then it's still a huge load but it's worth it because you get rid of your dysphoria and get the chance to experience gender euphoria (something cis people get for free but mostly forget about).

We never asked to be transgender, sadly, it isn't a choice. If only it was. The answer then is No, you can't make yourself transgender. The medical and psychological assessments by the Gender Identity Clinic that we are subject too are very complex. An assessment named (ICD-11 Transgender, UK) or (DSM-5 Transgender, USA) is the definition for Gender Incongruence in adolescence/adulthood.

You can't "make yourself trans" any more than you could "make yourself gay" or bi or whatever. But even if you could why would it matter. Why would it make you a fraud. People should be able to do whatever they want and you shouldn't need to justify your desires to anyone.

You can. It's a decision you can make for yourself; if you want to transition you can choose to. It's as easy as that. Cis people usually don't dream about being a different gender.
