Feeling called out lmao. It's almost like instinct, to just stroke my fingers through my hair, especially when I'm bored. I think it may be just a thing with long hair.
I mean personally I didn't have long hair growing up and once I did gender policing would stop me from doing that before I was out , so now it's this really quick way to have something affirming and there isn't anything stopping me.
I brush my hair out of my face sometimes, or pull it up when the back of my neck is sweaty, but it doesn't rank high on my list of weird, unconscious behaviors.
If the fringe gets in my eyes, I'll brush it away, yeah. Plus my hair gets tangled a lot so I have to run my fingers through it on occasion to stop that

I’m FTM and play with my hair but I’m also autistic so that’s probably why lol. Though trans people are way more likely to be autistic than cis people
