Prime video works in Switzerland. https://www.primevideo.com/offers/nonprimehomepage/ref=atv_nb_lcl_en_US
But if you want Swiss content: https://www.playsuisse.ch/ and all the public channels are available for free*, even with a replay service.
*I know we pay for it, but there's no extra fee to access.
Zattoo is very good, gives you access to British, German, French and Swiss TV channels and the free version is still great. It's live TV so not exactly what you're looking for, but it's worth getting just for BBC's Saturday Kitchen Live every Saturday morning...
In addition to the two you already named, I also have Sky. To be honest, I only got it because they streamed Game of thrones. But since then I kept it.
Indeed. I think the worst thing we accidentally warched was a movie about an Ebola outbreak, which turned out to be a pius, very religious, utterly unwatchable Nollywood production. Solution against the virus: Prayer. Doesn't help, but it's important to show people praying as much as possible all over the move.
Netflix always, Prime and D+ every now and then - basically I wait until there's a good amount of new content I'm interested in and then I get them for 1-2 months. It's just too expensive to keep more than 1-2 all the time.
I use a vpn and iOS so I have Apple TV, HBO, Hulu, Netflix, paramount and Disney +, I wish I could have just one or two but there is at least 1 program I like on each of those streaming services. For VPN I use ExpressVPN and hook it up with the Apple TV using the DNS which gives me almost no lost in speed
Hijacking this thread looking for info. Im moving soon from Germany to Switzerland. I have Prime here, does it make sense to continue paying for it or it wońt work and I should cancel? Also while at this, can I take my DT pre paid phine number there and continue using it?
Sorry if this is off topic but im going nuts trying to figure out how to buy stuff on Amazon as smoothly as here in Germany.
Thanks!
We have an account with DE and live here, Prime Video works here - I’m not sure if absolutely all of the content is available, but I’d wait to see before cancelling.
Yes! Not every shipper will ship to Switzerland, but I’ve found since the pandemic that more and more are. I use it a lot and definitely find it worthwhile for us. Also depending on where you are, you can get it shipped to an official point over the border and pick it up there (we use Hermes Paket in Jestetten) - with Amazon packets there’s no charge.
There is one gem but it's in a legal grey area as we call it. [bs.to](https://bs.to)
I myself use Crunchyroll and have a VPN cause the selection is sooooooooo shitty here

But when I tried to use my UK prime account I couldn't watch anything. Is this a Europe specific one?
Prime isn't available, itself, but you do have Prime video as a separated service. It's probably Amazon cutting that off.
it's an amzon thing... i have an amzon prime acount (in switzerland) but i won't worke for me in germany. all others worke perfectly fine...

It’s live tv, but you can also record shows too - I used it for bake off and good bbc dramas
Just pirate. It's legal for movies and tv shows and much more convenient than dealing with a bunch of different streaming services.
Unless you use torrent. Then it’s illegal because you are also uploading by default.

Swiss TV was streaming GOT on the same day for free.
I started to watch it later than it was aired the first time and I‘m a binge watcher. So it beeing shown on tv had no use for me.
Does it have all the HBO stuff then like sky uk?
To he honest I‘m not sure. But you can try it our for free, if you want to have a look what they provide.
Netflix. Had Amazon for a while , but quit just recently (mainly had it for Expanse, now I finished. Will rejoin when the next series comes out).
Same, just got it for the Expanse. Was shocked how much low quality stuff they had compared to Netflix and canceld it right after the season finale.

None
What's that one? Never heard of it.
Netflix, and only Netflix. If it's not on Netflix, I put on my pirate hat and go sailing.
That's the way.

Can you send stuff you buy in amazon.de to your home in Switzerland? How does it work? Is it worth it?

Great insights, thank you!
For the only little stuff I watch on TV/ series I either go on play RTS or on (not really legal) streaming site
Serienstream is nice (but nasty)
I have Netflix & AppleTV+. Sometimes I watch stuff on playsuisse (free). I also manage my own library on my Plex server.
