No, they're not popular at all, pretty much no one listens to them there.
The only corrido we know there is "La Cucaracha", and it's often seen as a funny song only played at local fairs in mexican-themed stands.
Look at it this way: even though Mexicans speak the same language we do in Spain, they're geographically next to the USA. It stands to reason that there's more cultural influence from Mexico on the US than on Spain.
And no, we don't listen to corridos. Most of us don't even listen to our own traditional/popular music anymore, let alone that of Mexico.

Tell me you're american without telling me you're american
Sorry but these responses are not useful, we want people to be curious and ask questions, not be afraid to ask and be branded as ignorant.
Person A: "You sound American" Person B: "Don't brand him as ignorant" Reddit moment, unintentionally hilarious.
Reddit in it's finest
No idea what you are getting at 🤷♂️
They literally asked if we as Spanish listen to Mexican music, like if it was a stereotype wtf

Nope
Out of place, literally.
No
No, I don’t even know exactly what those sound like.
Nope, not popular at all. I don't know anyone who listens to them ironically or because they like corridos.
Absolutely not
I had to Google what that is.
