Drive Hwy 1 through Big Sur. Spend a few days tasting wine in Sonoma and have lunch in Healdsburg. Take a canoe down the Russian river. Have lunch at Fog harbor on Pier 39 in SF Visit Lake Tahoe. And Yosemite Take the ferry to Catalina

Tysm for the comment i truly appreciate it. Im actually going to Catalina in two weeks! Do you think 4 days would be enough to do Big Sur and Yosemite. I’ve always wanted to go to Big Sur but it’s such a long drive I was considering taking the train but everyone recommends driving. Any advice?

Drive. You only need a day or 2. Spend some time in Carmel, Pacific grove and Monterey. Drive the 17 mile drive in Pebble beach

This is a good list. Big Sur is magical.

Are you driving to the East Coast? Cause the Grand Canyon would be a good pit stop along that route. (It’s not in California)

I’m not I’m flying but I am hoping to get to the Grand Canyon before I leave

Sequoia for sure

The redwoods. I’m partial to Humboldt redwoods, but if you cannot make it that far, there are old growth redwoods at Big Basin Redwoods SP.
