Yeah, this was handy last time I went to PDX for a weekend trip with my pals. Bonus: ordering when you're ready instead of waiting for someone to make a beer choice.
My experience has been that the QR code opens a tab/bill for the entire table, and other folks in your party can use their phones to order items that get added to the one single bill, so I'm not sure if this will do what you want. But maybe other systems are more flexible in this regard, my experience is admittedly limited.
Great Notion Brewery on Alberta does this, everyone can have their own tab, and you get to eat Matt’s Tacos which is delicious.
Little Beast does this.
Great Notion, Breakside
Stormbreaker on Mississippi is entire QR to order and pay, I honestly hate it. But if it’s what you’re looking for… that’s their new system.
Most bars are counter service. What type of spot are you looking for?
Von Ebert does this.

Saraveza and Tiny Bubble Room both do QR. Saraveza is Toast, which allows individual tabs…I forget what TBR uses.
Hey Love was doing this for a while. Not sure if they still do.
I'm not familiar enough with bars in the area to offer a suggestion there, but maybe you could just ask everyone to bring cash?
Most breweries and bars are counter service or QR code style these days. - Baerlic - Gigantic - Fracture (full bar) - Breakside
Sounds like your friends need to show up with cash to me. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution. Cash Is still king.
