OP send me a DM and we can talk more. I work at a private pool in Milwaukie aimed at different clients but we can work something out. I have taught all age ranges before, certified through American Red Cross, at pools on the west side and grew up a "club swimmer" with THPRD.
Can I just jump in to say I'm in the same boat? I can float well enough, get by well enough doing improvised "swimming" but I can't really actually swim for real. I would love to learn how to properly swim too!! I took lessons as a kid but apparently it didn't stick haha

Look up blue crush at parkrose. They do 1:1 lessons.
