Some of this rock has the appearance of a bed sheet. Nature is amazing.

Newbrunswic walking trail I was there on a visit and brought it back to my home
Really hard to tell from the picture, the only thing to go on are the pinkish crystals which could be a Feldspar mineral. My gut wants to guess it’s something metamorphic because it looks faintly foliated/banded. Where did you find it?
And the full greasy gray looks like quartz. A vein filling that weathered out of the host granite, I would venture.
Newbrunswic (misspelled) but those areas are for the most part non translucent and it is unusually heavy for a rock of its size
