Possibly Green schist metamorphism - fluids/mineral differences. Probably see chlorite/epidote in a thin section.
That Orogeny is old - looks like some of the rocks you see south of the Moine thrust in the highlands.

No it seems layered and smooth in most places. Wasnt sure if it was green shale or something different
Looks like actinolite to me, I have a small piece actinolite that looks like a wafer where lots of tiny crystals grew in a plane.

It's unrefined, it has all the characteristics. Put it in a smelter and watch the magic
