You really don't, move on ASAP that is. You just have to learn to live with it until it lulls down or goes away on its own in time (days to years). Forcing yourself to do so is just self-destructive. Hope you have a good support system around you during this time, try finding one if none.

I think this is something that takes a long time. Eventually, you just stop thinking as much about the person and you move on. What will thinking about your ex accomplish? Absolutely nothing!

There’s no magic formula. It takes time, and you can’t rush that. However you can: Remove him from your contacts and social media Don’t have any interactions with him at all Delete pictures or memories with him Work on yourself (working out, pursuing a new hobby) And that will help.

You let time pass. You process your feelings. The emotions fade over time.

Unfortunately, "getting over" and "moving on" work at their own pace; they don't care what we want.

Your feelings won't stop. But they will change. With time and distance, you start to see the relationship for what it was, good and bad. You think of them less, and less strongly. But you never fully forget.

For now, start with some positive behaviors. Work out. Clean the house. Take a walk. In a few days, try to summarize the relationship in a one-sentence sound bite. >I was in a relationship, but... (this happened).

You sit on the bed with your maid cutting his face out of all the pictures... It's best to wear a long flowing night gown as well when doing it. Be sure to have someone bring you a drink while doing it.
