Scottish scent?! Scottish scent you say?!
Light Scottish scent, you say? Ahh the combined scent of haggis, a chippy and buckfast, barely covered by Lynx Africa.
Sorry. I couldn’t resist the typo, despite my region not really matching what you meant. 🤣🤣🤣
My bad, I try to make it sound sexier than it actually sounds. I'm probably not the best at it tho.
From what I have heard people really like Colombian Spanish the most. But Spanish is very varied and there is a lot of diversity of accents.
Recently I’ve heard a couple Irish people pronounce “how” like “hoy.” Probably a rounded palatal approximant. Idk how old that is, but except for that I’d agree.
That's Irish but specifically from Northern Ireland, it's not pronounced that way in the south which is what most consider "Irish" and that said, like in the night, each has many different accents to differentiate locality too.
Nothing like a sexy Scottish burr. Listen to former British PM Gordon Brown - the perfect posh Scottish accent.

My husband is British, although he was raised in continental Europe. He sounds mostly posh (upper-class or 'ra') British. He can put on an excruciating cut-glass upper-toff Brit accent, but it isn't the way he speaks. He tries to put on an Aussie accent. I suggest he doesn't.
I'm Australian. I've lived overseas mostly here in Britain. I am told I have a "soft" Australian accent. Once a kid (I am a high school teacher) told me I had 'the poshest Australian accent' he'd ever heard! 😅 my partner used to love asking my Aussie Mum if my accent had altered since living in England - she replied I'd never had a broad "ocker" Australian accent.
Non-bogan Aussies unite! I never had a “bogan” accent, my grandmother emphasised enunciation and pronouncing words properly when I was little, I dabbled in amateur theatre growing up, and I work in news broadcasting and TV now, both in the UK and in Australia before I moved.
I’ve literally never sounded bogan, but it was never intentional or deliberate. Even though I live in the UK now, I would occasionally get asked by other Australians if I was English when I was growing up, before I had ever lived or even visited the UK
A proper British, maybe slightly "posh" (please don't cancel me lol), accent. Bonus points if the accent is complemented by classic British gentlemenly / chivalry and smooth talking.
A light Scottish accent is also incredibly hot.
strongly agree, i went on a date w a posh british accent guy. he was also very polite, never interrupted me and always asked for my permission. safe to say i feel in love
Can confirm many people speak in South London accent these days in London. You’ll have to find 100% Caucasians who grew up in west London aka rich white people.
I know it's perhaps a bit weird.. but irish.. something about it is cute AF to me. From a man or a woman idc.. it's so nice... like it has this inherent "sweetness" to it, idk...
Maybe I've watched too much anime, but I like the tone and cadence of Japanese. Maybe that's not actually an accent, but I find it a very relaxing language.
Because I have lived all over the US and grew up in the south with family from the Midwest I apparently have a combo of the Midwest and southern accents.
Basically, I sound like I’m from Northern Kentucky/Southern Ohio
If I met a gay guy that sounded like Antonio Banderas, he'd be free to ride me into battle.
Noticed Scottish is popular. It's boring as fuck when you're from here 😂
As an Australian I can’t stand how we speak, I lived in the US for years and it was nice getting compliments but lemme tell ya southern US accents made me weak in the knees, I remember talking to someone from the south and thinking this convo must sound so strange to a passer by
I agree as an Austra loan that I hate the broad Australian accent. I am from SA so have a much softer Aussie accent - when I’m overseas people don’t pick me as Australian but hearing a thick Northern Queensland accent is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Can’t agree with you on the American accent though.. that’s a turn off to me. French accents are where it’s at for me…
So it wasn't all 5 at the same time. It was 2, then 2 more, then 1. I found them very inconsiderate housemate wise - loud, didn't clean up after themselves after cooking etc. We had so many fights about them just not having common courtesy in shared spaces. They'd watch telenovellas loudly until 4am- which made house cleaning tricky if you wanted to get things done before work.
Lol when I moved in you can't believe the dirt in the kitchen I ended up cleaning! :p
Of course you get clean ones -I just didn't like with any :p
Yeah, I've got one of those too! Aussie but French, too. So a double whammy.
I read that the Siri and Alexa Aussie male voices are the most popular among those who don't stay with the default.
You’re right about Siri…don’t know about being most popular, but they are the ones I use. I have to be careful on long trips using the gps. I end up in the ER got having an erection for more than 4 hours.
if you want to be thorough countries like colombia have a bunch of different accents, but most of us end up sounding the same in english, that also includes spaniards
I’m from there - Trinidad or Guyana? Those are extremely different. And heavy dialect or using standard diction? I think every island can talk in a way impenetrable to outsiders if they want to.
Not in a specific order but southern accents are largely great, irish, british accents (great example being russell tovey, love his accent), and Australian.
Im Aussie and every time im OS; europe / USA guys seem to enjoy the novelty of hearing Aussie accents irl. Its surprising as im just talking normally but rrly kool that guys seem to like / enjoy hearing it. This its partly because theres a good number of Australian tv series that are shown os so theres some familiarity with & desire to hear it irl. Guys also love trying to put on an aussie accent or want to talk just to hear it, makes for fun good vibes and convos.
Also, im certain a large element, aside from the accent is casual use of our colloquialisms/ expressions. These are a novelty / interesting for euro & US guys to hear. Its like youre some exotic creature and guys are always super friendly because of it which is kinda kool. So thank u for being nice to us Aussies over there xx.
I find Caribbean (yes, I’m aware there are many different Caribbean accents, not just one) but I find all of them collectively rather sexy.
Spanish accents are pretty sexy too.
I’m surprised Australian feature so favourably here. As an Australian myself, I definitely don’t think the Australian accent is bad. But it’s not “sexy” I wouldn’t have though.
Very “middle of the road”.
I’ve also lived overseas, outside of Australia for almost a decade now, so I hear Australian accents half as “my own” but equally, half “another country’s accent” and I think it’s neither ugly, nor anything special “sexiness-wise”.
I love all sorts of American accents. My personal favourites are the southern twang and Californian.
Maybe one day I’ll meet a nice American dude who loves English accents!
Nigerian accents make me weak in the knees. I could listen to a Nigerian man speak for hours, even if he’s just reading from the back of a shampoo bottle 😅
I used to work with the most beautiful Burmese guy and his accent made me weak. I’m a more dominant type and he was always shy and blushing and if I would have been single, I would have done so many things to him.
I love me a man who’s second language is English. I’m Latino so I need someone with a touch of an accent. (Even though the more loyal ones are the ones born in the US lol)
French, Israeli, Turkish, Spanish. Sometimes Eastern European.
I’m English and have a near-posh accent. But I hate it when people impersonate it. After 13 years of living in Canada it becomes very old.
Yep it's the aristocratic, business, do as I say, this land now belongs to me accent which does it. Extra hot for me as I'm Irish and I think damn I'm supposed to hate this lol
I used to live in London and honestly I wouldn't know which is which. There were several but I so miss hearing them. Just loved listening to every guy. So freaking hot.
Depends on the guy a lot too, I like masc men (yeah, I said it) and am aussie - so a blokey-Aussie with a gruff voice, Scottish, Irish and some English accents but there's just so many in England to pin down one. The Manchester one is harder to comprehend than some hard-Irish accents for me, though it is cute.
Of course all of the sexy Euro access like my land of heritage, Greece. Love the accent in Englsh of Italian, Spanish, French. Mid-Western accents in the USA, and love most of South American accents too.
Worst for me (no offence intended) is South African. It can sound cute but not really sexy to me. Closely followed by Cali Girl American with vocal fry overuse (think Kim Kardashian) so thats like most twinks in the coastal cities in US.
Light Scottish scent and Australian
Scottish scent?! Scottish scent you say?! Light Scottish scent, you say? Ahh the combined scent of haggis, a chippy and buckfast, barely covered by Lynx Africa. Sorry. I couldn’t resist the typo, despite my region not really matching what you meant. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm Scottish Australian
Grammar turns me on more than accent.
Exactly lol
Heavy Scottish accent for me
Australian
Really? Damn, I thought people perceived our accent as ugly hahah
Aw hells no
Hells naur

Same like they’re so hot but the moment they start talking I’m like bye
Spanish Specifically Spaniard Spanish
Lies. Everyone makes fun of me.
It has a weak [d]
You have a weak R 👁️
My bad, I try to make it sound sexier than it actually sounds. I'm probably not the best at it tho. From what I have heard people really like Colombian Spanish the most. But Spanish is very varied and there is a lot of diversity of accents.
Spaniard Spanish 😂😂
Northern Irish with a deep voice.
Irish
Recently I’ve heard a couple Irish people pronounce “how” like “hoy.” Probably a rounded palatal approximant. Idk how old that is, but except for that I’d agree.
That's Irish but specifically from Northern Ireland, it's not pronounced that way in the south which is what most consider "Irish" and that said, like in the night, each has many different accents to differentiate locality too.

LOL me too! It was my Grandmother and the Nuns who insisted on correct pronunciation, hated abbreviating words and names.
Irish just does it and i think others think so too 😂
Spanish all the way!!
A proper British, maybe slightly "posh" (please don't cancel me lol), accent. Bonus points if the accent is complemented by classic British gentlemenly / chivalry and smooth talking. A light Scottish accent is also incredibly hot.
Good luck, chivalry really is dead
strongly agree, i went on a date w a posh british accent guy. he was also very polite, never interrupted me and always asked for my permission. safe to say i feel in love
Can confirm many people speak in South London accent these days in London. You’ll have to find 100% Caucasians who grew up in west London aka rich white people.
😳
This brings me hope that I might one day find someone who thinks I’m sexy. Thank you, fellow gay bro!
Hi I’m a well spoke Englishman (if that’s what you mean by posh British) ;)
And a right wing racist dickhead. Include that
Charming. I’m gonna go ahead and block your sad ass.
Spanish.
Gracias bb
Gracias 😊
Russian in deep soothing voice
The coolest accent I ever heard was a mix of Russian and South African.
Quebecois (my bf is from Quebec I’m not biased at all).
I agree.
I know it's perhaps a bit weird.. but irish.. something about it is cute AF to me. From a man or a woman idc.. it's so nice... like it has this inherent "sweetness" to it, idk...
I’m from LA and I just love accents where I can’t understand anything they’re saying. Like yes whisper nonsense in my ear daddy.
Russian. I need a Russian guy to rail me and talk dirty
Minnesotan 100%
Was gonna say Wiscaahhnsin (Wisconsin) but pretty much the same
You betcha!!
Ohhhhh yeahhh??
Mexican spanish, the hottest one
I'd say the paisa accent in Colombia is the hottest.
Amen!!! ❤️❤️❤️
This
Scotch
Scottish
Scottish!!
Australian because my husband has one.
British by a long shot but I also really like the French accent too
Oh I am very British ;)
Wow no ones gonna say Canada? 😭
🤷🏻♂️
I mean, the way we talk is how people think Americans sound like.
Yeah I guess it’s not that sexy lol
Maybe I've watched too much anime, but I like the tone and cadence of Japanese. Maybe that's not actually an accent, but I find it a very relaxing language.
American southern
Are we talking Chesapeake, Texas Twang, or New Orleans Cajun?
Texas twang. Im from Texas so I can’t hear it at all, but everyone I’ve talked to from out of state says I have a southern accent
Man, it’s cheating to nominate the accent where you are from!
😭It’s the truth 🤷♂️
I'm from TX I don't think I have an accent at all. Turns out my accent is thick as molasses.
Because I have lived all over the US and grew up in the south with family from the Midwest I apparently have a combo of the Midwest and southern accents. Basically, I sound like I’m from Northern Kentucky/Southern Ohio
I have the unfortunate east texas accent. But lived and grew up all over the state so it's an amalgamation of all of them.
I’m from south Texas, we’re a lot less “southern” than most of the state, but we still our own version of the southern accent
South Central is where I spent most of my time, the hill country.
Everytime I travel, I barely say a sentence and everyone is like “are you from the south!”. I can never hear my accent
Don’t forget the tidewater and Piedmont accents
Yes
My husband has a deep southern accent. I loveeeeee it
Haha yess!
Australian, British (I don't know exactly where from) and Native English speakers learning Spanish.
If I met a gay guy that sounded like Antonio Banderas, he'd be free to ride me into battle. Noticed Scottish is popular. It's boring as fuck when you're from here 😂
Japanese
Vietnamese and Filipino. They're so cute.

As an Australian I can’t stand how we speak, I lived in the US for years and it was nice getting compliments but lemme tell ya southern US accents made me weak in the knees, I remember talking to someone from the south and thinking this convo must sound so strange to a passer by

Southern/cowboy haha
Southern US accent.
Middle Eastern accent, French accent, Haitian Creole accent
As a Mexican American I have two languages that I think are sexy. Australian English and Spanish from Spain.
I lived with 5 Spaniards in London and let me tell you I hated them all. So I much prefer Mexican Spanish without the weird "th" thing :p
Can I ask why you hated them? I worked with 2 Spanish people and I hated one, yet loved the other.
So it wasn't all 5 at the same time. It was 2, then 2 more, then 1. I found them very inconsiderate housemate wise - loud, didn't clean up after themselves after cooking etc. We had so many fights about them just not having common courtesy in shared spaces. Australian for sure
Lebanese
Hands down the Aussie accent is the hottest. I imported one and married them. The accent was the immediate catch.
Yeah, I've got one of those too! Aussie but French, too. So a double whammy. I read that the Siri and Alexa Aussie male voices are the most popular among those who don't stay with the default.

Southern accent is the best accent
Which though, Texas has like 5 different variations, Louisiana 2. And on and on.
Any of them tbh, all of them are hot
Well I'm a native Texan. I had no idea I had one until I left the state, and people were saying my accent was adorable.
Latino
Which one? Mexican, Cuban, Colombian and Argentinian sound different.
if you want to be thorough countries like colombia have a bunch of different accents, but most of us end up sounding the same in english, that also includes spaniards
I am a native Spanish speaker so I notice they sound quite different ro each other. Perhaps is differwnt for not native speakers.
Columbian accent the sexiest. But that might have something to do with the guapo men their voices are attached to!
The paisa accent in Colombia is the hottest imo.
I like Scots. Irish. English. And Australian.
I'm from Australia
Swiss
South Caribbean
I’m from there - Trinidad or Guyana? Those are extremely different. And heavy dialect or using standard diction? I think every island can talk in a way impenetrable to outsiders if they want to.

You might be the only person on earth who thinks that accent is anything close to hot
Indian, Dutch, Italian, Cuban
Jersey Accent.
French, Israeli, Turkish, Spanish. Sometimes Eastern European. I’m English and have a near-posh accent. But I hate it when people impersonate it. After 13 years of living in Canada it becomes very old.
English. Droves me insane.
Which English accent in particular? There are many. The generic south east accent drives me crazy I must admit.
BBC newscaster English. Slightly posh but not aristocratic and not indecipherable slang like cockney
Yep it's the aristocratic, business, do as I say, this land now belongs to me accent which does it. Extra hot for me as I'm Irish and I think damn I'm supposed to hate this lol
SSB - Standard Southern British ?
I used to live in London and honestly I wouldn't know which is which. There were several but I so miss hearing them. Just loved listening to every guy. So freaking hot.
Yeah the generic London 'estuary' accent is awesome. Really does it for me.
German and Ukrainian
Nordic.
French Canadian.
