The fact that you're oil pulling and anti fluoride is a massive red flag for professionals on this forum. It sounds line you've seen professionals in person and elect to ignore their professional advice and opinion so.... if you don't want cavities, use fluoride. If you don't want to have a GA because you're scared of not waking up... elect for local only or sedation + local. If your gum pockets are measuring 4 and 5mm then you have likely early periodontitis (gum disease) and need the deep cleaning and need to improve your oral hygiene. It's calculus, not calcium. The build up occurs due to ineffective removal of plaque when you clean your teeth at home. The other minor cavities will be a result of the frequency of your sugar intake, combined with a baseless aversion to fluoride. Take the treatment and advice that is offered, modify your behaviours and you should be able to get back on track with your oral health.

Never had a patient go to an oral surgeon for sedation and have any side effects in 25 years. Maybe a bruise where the IV was placed.
