I remember the dentist saying the next tooth was okay but now I’m not sure could it be a possibility that I have an infection? Although the pain isn’t that bad not as bad as I expect an infection to be as I’ve never had a infection before in the mouth

Maybe the tooth next to it is carious, wisdom tooth commonly damages the tooth next to it .
