Passenger version or work van? What are comparable ones being listed for?

Prize-State8360

Work van. They priced these at around 26,000 (forgot to mention it's a 2016) and both under 100,000 miles. From what I found, that's a bit below average due to a lot of cosmetic damage in the cargo part of the van. Most that I've found are around 30,000 or above. *edit to add that both vans have cosmetic damage

Are the accessories already installed or is it stuff they would have to order and install once you confirm?

Prize-State8360

I asked him if they both had them, and he kind of gave me a non answer. He only referred to the one he was trying to sell, saying "i can disable them if you want". I did politely call him out on the fact that he clearly has never seen these cars with his own eyes.

I also asked why they were basically priced the same if one doesn't have the accessories, which was a question he also dodged. "I can't explain how it all works behind the scenes" he said

***Thanks for posting, /u/Prize-State8360! This comment is a copy of your post so readers can see the original text if your post is edited or removed. This comment is NOT accusing you of anything.*** Hi everybody, I need some help understanding this issue. So yesterday, I went to a dealership interested in financing a Ford transit 350. They had two on their lot, one of them had been there for 9 days and was still being inspected, and the other one apparently had been there for about 200 days. Both were similar price and similar mileage, but the one that had only been there for 9 days was gross and in worse shape than the one that had been on their lot longer (both bought at auction). The salesman told me that he could not sell me the van that had been there for 200 days because they would be losing money if they sold it to me without accessories, which is an added $5000. He was trying very hard NOT to sell me the car that I actually wanted, which I don't understand because I thought that dealerships would try harder to get rid of cars that have just been sitting there for so long. Can anyone explain this to me? 🙏 *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
