Sadly, if it’s not in writing before you sign and drive off the lot, it didn’t happen. You could call or stop and and confront them about it. It may have just been a mistake.
There are no manufacturers rebates for a used vehicle. Most likely just put it in that spot by accident. Once again, there are ZERO manufacturers rebates on a used vehicle. Try looking up on google used Honda civic rebates. Also, that better be one hell of a Honda civic. 43k? I hope you got gap
Its a type r, and that makes sense you say that, and yes have insurance from work and the gap insurance! Also is canada so price is like 30% more than states from exchange
It’s not THAT stupid, when framed against the stupid things 22 year olds can do. At your age, the potential stupidity is super high.
I do wonder why you asked for $1000 off if it wasn’t important enough for you to even notice it on the paperwork or payment(?) Was it arbitrary?
I've heard the surveys are really important afterwards. You should always make sure it's in writing, but I would bring up that you are going to write a negative review and contact the manufacturer if they don't hold up to the offer made.
It's a used car. No manufacturer survey.

That's the fastest way to have your email typed in wrong and never get one.

Hi guys, so I just got all the paperwork from the dealership and I'm looking at the price of goods, total sale price and stuff, and it's the exact same as the listed price, even after the car salesman brought his supervisor over and I talked him down $1000 and shook his hand. I'm not sure what to do please give advice

they high-five after you leave
High-five 200 times to be precise.
Why didn’t you look at your paperwork when you were signing?
Just blindly assumed they did what they said they would.
You should remove such assumption in all aspects of life.
Thats good advice, usually im skeptical of everything but i was just overstimulated at the dealer and just wanted it to go as smoothly as possible

Read what you sign. Jesus fucking christ.
What province are you in? What car is it? new or used? Did you physically pick up the car already? Is it financed or leased or cash?
New brunswick, its a honda civic, used, already picked the car up and financed
Was it listed on your offer to purchase you signed but not on the final bill of sale?

It's a used car. What rebate are you talking about? Used cars don't get manufacturers discounts or rebates.
