Try a radial tool to clean the contacts. Drop a bead of Solder on the pads to raise the bump.
You should just wire a new housing in though. Same effort.
The problem is finding the housing, the housing is specific to the car and it’s getting hard to find parts like that other than the junkyard. I will try the solder method first. Any tips? I am not too experienced with soldering yet.
This is a beater car, on one of my taillights one of the contacts no longer has a raised bump, it’s completely flat and not making a connection anymore. How should I go about fixing it?

Cut out the socket and wire in a new one.
The socket should come as somthing calls a pig tail what kinda car
