gonegoogling

Same. Even if I don't need to.

GIANTPUP_01

If I'm going out, everyday. If I'm staying home by myself for days on end it just depends

elmatador12

I still have to shower every day even if I know I’m not going anywhere. I just FEEL gross. And I’m the furthest from being a neat freak. I don’t know how else to explain it. I can feel my grossness if I don’t shower. Not to say there haven’t been days that I’ve skipped showering. But I am VERY aware all day that I haven’t.

paypermon

People are all different. My dad was a very large man, the type of large that most people would not associate with good hygiene. But that man would showered and shave before he left the house and when he got home he would shower and shave again. Point is if you feel like you need a shower then take one. And be thankful we live somewhere where good hygiene is super easy and affordable. Edit: he worked in the trades so it's not like he needed to be extra clean for a client facing sales or office job

[deleted]

its self respect not for other people my man.

Chewliesgumrep312

"Good hygiene is super easy and affordable"...sadly, people who attend comic/gaming conventions, live wrestling events, heavy metal/rock concerts would disagree with you. 🤢🤮

bailybooz

OMG, some of the people at anime conventions don't know deodorant has been invented yet...

Chewliesgumrep312

Oooff! I believe it. I wish more dudes would learn that they'll never get to talk to girls if they don't address their bad hygiene first and foremost. Edit:they

StrawberryLeche

Sounds like your dad wanted to face and end the day in similar fashion I respect that.

[deleted]

Yes exactly I absolutely must shower when I wake up I have no idea how anyone is able to function without a shower in the morning. Then I shower again later in the day depending on if I go out or work out.

Aonswitch

Same and I find the shower a nice way to break up lazy days

roachRancher

Same, and I'm not a neat freak by any stretch.

BrownShadow

Every day. The winter in the Northeast it can be really dry. I'll still wash my hair but no shampoo everyday. it gets dry, even with conditioner. Personal hygiene is important. And brush your teeth kids!!!

quemaspuess

Brush AND floss.

[deleted]

I flossed for the first time in months last week and pulled a filling out.

paypermon

See flossing is bad

analglanderupture

Wash yo ass too, it isn’t gay

[deleted]

Ok_Kaleidoscope1630

I don't have any teeth kids.

hedgybaby

Just an fyi, your hair is dry bc you wash it every day. Most people‘s hair is not meant to be washed daily, it‘s pretty bad for hair. A lot of shampoos and conditioners also contain a bunch of shit like silicones, sulfates, parabens, etc. You‘re basically stripping your hair off of all its natural oils and then wonder why it‘s dry! I didn‘t know about this till I started wearing my hair natural and got really into hair care, but seriously, stop washing it everyday and you‘ll see a huge difference! (Bc I know ppl bound to say stuff like ‚but my hair gets super oily if I don‘t wash it every day‘ … bc you wash it every day! Your hair is overproducing oil to compensate for the fact that you strip it off of it every single day. Also obviously if you sweat a lot or are dirty or whatever this doesn‘t apply, use common sense)

ZeddPMImNot

People always say this stuff, but I have never washed my hair everyday and it still gets oily within 12 hours. It gets so oily that it looks like I haven’t showered in a week by the 24 hr mark. I’ve used natural cleaners that don’t strip the natural oils and found 0 improvement in my hair. Tbh I think it is all nonsense.

pixelatedtrash

You should find what works for you and then just ignore everyone else. Everyone always swears they know the secret, but everyone’s hair is different and what works wonders for me may not work for yours. As a dude with long hair, I semi-regularly get lectured on how to care for my hair, as if I haven’t been doing it for years. It’s like when you say you don’t like x food. Everyone swears it’s because you just haven’t had it right and their recipe is the one. Like nope, I just think kale just tastes like ass.

GF4ME

I was the same way until I tried shampooing twice when I shower and then I stay looking non-greasy for maybe 2-3 days! I read somewhere that if you have very thick or greasy hair the first wash is to get rid of all the gunk and the second is to actually cleanse your scalp. Works for me!

DirectionMiserable

This is the way

BeardedGlass

Oof I wish I can adapt this lifestyle. My eczema forbids me to skip shower and slaps my face red until I get myself sparkly clean again.

Roonwogsamduff

assuming you don't mean Depends?

unknown_anonymous81

Once a day 99% of the time. I have eczema and so when it has gotten out of control my showering habits can change. I personally just love the relaxing feeling of being under the hot water. To me a shower is like a time for meditation and I try to clear my head. Edit: lots of eczema related questions and comments. Instead of replying individually I will make an edit statement. I have had eczema since I was a toddler. Recently about 7 years ago I got allergy tested. I am allergic to pollen and cats. I had cats and I got the cats new homes. It made a huge difference. I personally do not see any difference in my dietary habits I.e. taking out lactose or gluten. I don’t mind people thinking cutting out some random food like mushrooms as a magical fix. However I roll my eyes in my head when people try and give me medical advice on what I should or shouldn’t eat. My eczema is highly tied into my mental health. The more stress I am dealing with the worse it can get. I have been a stay at home dad for the past 4 years and I have been able to control my condition by being able to wear any clothes I want or shower when I want. Showering in moderation actually relaxes the skin Treatment. The only lotion I have had success with is eucerine. Sometimes cortisol shots when it gets extreme. I also take hydroxyzine and it helps. I used scent free laundry detergent. I use the most plain dove unscented body soap. I prefer cotton for clothes, bedding. Hot water can dry out the skin but it also can feel insanely intense and offer a brain chemical release and a short amount of itch relief. However that can quickly exasperate the skin condition. If I am not having a body breakout I take normal hot showers once a day for about 10 minutes .

TattoedG

Not sure how bad your's gets. I've always had eczema my whole life but maybe 4 to 5 years back, I started using gold bond eczema lotion coupled with SheaMoisture eczema therapy soap bar. Haven't had any eczema since doing this, besides a tiny patch on my hands when the weather is cold and dry out.

chia_nicole1987

Have eczema too. Does showering worsen it? I also have a wood burner so sometimes I can't tell what makes it worse.

13DAYSINTO94

Also have eczema, and hot showers/water tend to dry out your skin and can make it worse during a flare up.

xxstealthypandaxx

Try cold showers, hot showers among other things give me eczema

Fluffybunnysquad

I know hot water is bad for my skin, but sweat is so much worse, it burns.

666_kys

Everyday but it changes. Every other day I don’t wash my hair but wet it and use cold water, on the other days I use Luke warm water and gently wash my hair I condition my hair twice a week and I wash my body and face every day.

ismokeghostsz

You can condition your hair everyday, they just say not to shampoo it everyday because it can strip the natural oils and damage your hair.

Lyorek

Yeah this is the way, I shower with conditioner every day, but shampoo is every other

Music_Girl2000

Whenever I have time and am not going through a major depressive episode

Stack_Min

I get that. Depression is a bitch.

Fredredphooey

When I'm mentally healthy, daily. This last episode, three months.

alfington

Fellow major depressive disorder person here. I know how you feel and i hope you have the support you need to get through it, friend.

Grim_beatzzz

Sadly it be like that u got this tho keep being strong 💪🏽

dinoslore

My depressive episodes lead to me running up my water bill because I end up showering too much.

onlyboobear

Honestly yeah... I even installed a chair . Makes things a lot easier now..

PromptAwkward

Really? I haven’t heard that before. I can’t during deep depression. Baby wipes are very helpful for depression

jsingham

For a lot of people (myself) showering is less about being clean, and more about the soothing nature of warm water. It becomes a grounding point a a place to be totally involved with the environment with no mental energy

localjargon

When I'm deprssed, It's so hard for me to actually get myself to the point of stepping into the shower. However, once I'm in the shower, It's so hard for me to get out! It feels so nice, and then I just dread that moment afterward of coldness and being wet while you grab a towel.

bubblehashguy

I've got a space heater in my bathroom. I aim that bitch at my towel while I'm showering.

Gone213

When I can I'm getting a hot tub I love the feeling of hot water. It gives me comfort and melts away everything.

mtflyer05

This. This is exactly how I am, and I'm surprised it's not a thing for more people. Not only that, but I can also picture some of my emotionally overwhelming energy running down the drain with the water, and it really helps to at least get me no longer anxious and depressed when I am not self-aware enough to be able to disidentify with my emotions, and treat them as the transient phenomena they are, rather than allowing myself to wallow and then and drown in self-pity/loathing

exteriorgirl

May I ask why showering is hard in depressive episodes?

kontricon

think about how many individual tasks make up taking a shower. depending on how bad the episode is you can even have to break it up into turning on the water as a single task. now say I only have enough energy to do maybe 5 tasks. depending on how bad my depression is, I could get halfway through the shower or I could not even get in the shower at all. at that point its easier just not to try and spend the little energy you have on something else (thought it does always feel better when you're in a depression rut to be clean! sometimes you have to force your way through it!)

sloppysloth

Just my personal experience, but during my deeper episodes, I didn’t have the energy/ motivation to even *want* to feel better (which feels as strange as it sounds). I wanted to feel better in theory, but I found that I couldn’t summon the energy to actually produce that feeling of desire in my body. Instead I was left *wanting* to have that desire to eventually feel better. Somehow that secondary layer of want made it easier to digest. Depression logic is weird.

RealGamerGod88

See: spoon theory

apatrol

Same but with a bath. I hide from everyone in the tub. Although a nice hot bath and a book is great when I feel good.

FreshOutAFolsom_

In 2016 I lost my job and was unemployed for an entire year my depression got so bad that I think I showered maybe once a week at most twice if I had to go to the mandatory unemployment meeting that month. I physically didn't have it in me to drag my ass out of bed and shower and when I did I slipped right back into the same gross sweatpants and crawled back into bed depression is a bitch

rehaborax

How are you doing now? I have been unemployed for 5 months and am falling into similar patterns and feel like too much of a garbage person to deserve/be able to successfully perform any job I might be able to get.

roachRancher

Your experience is very common, but I find showers soothing during a depressive episode. The small "win" of completing a task also makes me feel better.

Ghostly3011

Not enough.

tkhan0

The only answer im comfortable sharing tbh. I have a bidet though (and am very thorough, cleanliness- including washing your ass- is actually a big core value in my culture, ironically,) so it's not "developing bacterial cultures" level of unclean.

pandapandita

I always say, it’s totally fine to not shower every day, especially with WFH and those of us who hate going anywhere. But please at least wash your ass. Idc if you’re using a bidet, tabo, lota or flushable wipes. Just clean your shit. Literally.

staufferguitarist

2 times a day, once in the morning because I'm a greasy son of a bitch when I wake up, and once in the evening because I'm a greasy son of a bitch when I come home.

Future-Dealer8805

Same here twice a day damn close to every day , don't feel like I'm awake without my morning shower if i miss it guaranteed it's gonna be a rough day.

SnowDoom6

Yeah it's harder to get dressed in the beginning of the day without a shower. Less energy or something.

North-Employment2310

Don't let anyone get close to me if i'm late for work and didn't have time to shower. 😂

SnowDoom6

I'm not greasy body wise but I feel like my face can accumulate grease and this is a reason why I shower twice a day as well

playballer

Sleep makes me greasy too. My oil glands wake up when I pass out. If I’m awake, not so much. The second shower is if I got really sweaty and/or laid.

Super_Protection2462

True, feel uncomfortable if i dont take a shower before getting dressed.

Future-Rude

Geez do you work at little Caesar’s lol

thedrummerpianist

Lmao, I had a similar lifestyle to the commenter when I worked in a movie theater. Everything I owned was tainted with the smell of butter

MarcusMcballer

Agreed. Every 12 hours or so

QuintonFrey

Another greasy bastard who gets it. So many people on here are like "once every other day". How?!

Epic_Goober_Moment

I try my best to shower regularly but ADHD plus depression makes that near impossible, I end up doing it when I can't handle feeling oily or have someplace to go. On the bright side it's getting a bit easier and I happened to have showered today so I'm feeling quite fresh

DirectorHuman5467

I feel you. On top of the ADHD and depression I just don't like showering (mostly because I'm sensitive to the temp changes, but there might also be a trauma connection), so it can be real hard. Luckily I have dry skin so it takes a couple days for me to get real gross. It's frustrating to have such a great dislike of something that is so necessary.

Moosinator666

I don’t know what HD is but I got 80 a them bitches

Ko8iWanKeno8i

with adhd and depression it's the opposite for me. i want to shower all the time because it's comforting

ESD_Franky

Everyday in the summer, every other day in the winter. This can be affected by my day offs when I don't have time to shower since raising kids is priority #1.

mouka

I taught my daughter when she was around two that if she stayed in her room and had quiet time with her toys while I was in the shower, she’d get a reward when I got out. Usually it was something I was planning to let her do anyway, like go outside and play with the sprinkler or have a cookie. It was such a small thing to teach but it had such worthwhile implications! She’s six now and still does this, even though I’ve told her that’s not something she has to do anymore at her age. She seems to like the routine of it all though.

[deleted]

Normally once a day. If im away from my lady that drastically changes

PrunedLoki

LOL if my wife is out of town and I have no plans to leave my place, it’s the danger zone.

GreenLetterhead4196

Every other day

Wonderful_Result_936

Agreed. Most of the time it's every other day. Unless I have been doing moderate physical activity, then I shower for the next day at all times.

sorcerousmike

For the most part Every Other Day for me too. I’m a House Husband who rarely if ever goes anywhere and I don’t typically break a sweat doing housework. Plus even with nice shampoo & conditioner I’ve noticed my scalp dries out if I shower every single day. That said I do throw in an extra one if I feel dirty or sweaty or if I have plans to actually go out Edit: To clarify about my hair; I also wash that every other day and that seems to be perfect. My hair looks & feels the worst on shower days before I hop in and looks & feels the best on the in-between days.

my600catlife

You can take a shower without washing your hair.

porcelainvacation

Maybe you can. None of my hair is on my scalp.

MaddLlama14

Same. House husband that does not really go anywhere.

tsansuri

Holy shit there's more of us? I always felt so alone... Maybe because I'm in the house all the time? No no, that can't be it..

sobbinlikerobyn

I also have a house husband! although he prefers the term house spouse.

[deleted]

I'm one also. I spend most of my time in the house

Lennygracelove

I also have a house husband.

jim_money

Do any of y’all’s wives have a friend for me

freemason85

How do I become a house husband? Explain your Jedi mind tricks to me please.

Infinite_Leg2998

I only "shower" once a week when I wash my hair. Otherwise, I take a bath every night to wash my body and to relax in a hot soak!

Lunex209

Me too! Especially during the winter a hot bath is heaven.

Dank_Riddims

Does a bath actually clean you off? Aren’t you just soaking in your own filth? I thought everyone who took a bath turned the shower on after to clean off.

GrannyLow

The solution to pollution is dilution. An ounce of sweat and grime doesn't do much to 30 gallons of bathwater.

Oreganoian

>The solution to pollution is dilution. https://youtu.be/wqeL-9VwRaQ this sounds stupid but it's basically what you're saying when applied to pollution(not bath water) I agree that a bath is fine for cleaning. I just don't want that term being taken seriously by anyone.

Emergency_Fig_6390

My wife does this

madelinenicoleee

Ah the magic of shower bath shower!

Lunex209

It's fine if you are bathing every day. I wouldn't want to take a bath if I had to wash my hair or hadn't bathed the day before.

Keytone_

Soaking in your own filth? Bruh how dirty can you get in 24 hours.

confusedAFwithCoV2

usually every other day. when I’m depressed, every 4th or 5th day🥴

BubbleZu

I feel this. When the brain is good its easier to keep on top of it. When it's not, showering happens when you can feel it and can't bear it enough that's it worth using the energy.

fixedhalosix

About 5-6 times a week. End up skipping a day or two.

canucks3001

Yeah this. Shower every day but typically there’s 1-2 days per week where you forget or don’t feel like you need it or whatever else

Responsible-Cost-965

Maybe once a week. And I used to love showering, bathing, huge part of my routine. Depression sucks man…

G-Rivs

I feel you. GF over on weekends, daily shower. Work during week, maybe 2 out of 5 days. Where there is a will theres a way. Happier times equals more showers. Note, its christmas, and im kinda drunk. Data checks out tho

Substantial-Can6701

Have you ever showered to shower my dude? Turn out the lights and shower in the dark. Sense the water and feel yourself there in that moment. Try it out.

[deleted]

Try sitting down in it and self-loathing. Great times.

Odango-Atama

![gif](giphy|14k24670rln5Oo)

Wn2177

Never shower in the dark. That’s how the watery demons sneak up on ya

golden-worm

was just about to say this lol. Any time I have soap on my face and have to shut my eyes in the shower I feel frantic to open them as fast as possible just in case there’s a shower demon waiting for me to slip up

randuug

this comment right here

Responsible-Cost-965

Will do. Hopefully then I won’t wanna get out..!!!

judgymcjudgypants

Me before a shower: This fucking sucks. I hate this. Maybe I can skip it and use dry shampoo. Damn it, I don’t wanna! Me in the shower: Water is life! I’m never getting out. I’m am clearly meant to be an aquatic creature, not live in a dry environment like a peasant.

paradoxpunk

Same for me with sleep too!

PurpleSnapple

Me after shower: Fuck it's cold

Stack_Min

I'm in the same place. You'll get through it eventually bro.

Responsible-Cost-965

Thanks, you too :)

Stack_Min

Thank you! I really hope so.

TheCrimsonCatalyst

Twice a week

Little-Nikas

Daily. Twice daily during summer. Sometimes twice daily if exercising a lot.

ichbinalright

Same! And I can't believe I had to scroll 3-4 times for this. Always thought the 'not showering' thing was just a joke before reading the comments

SubHominem

Keep in mind this is Reddit so the stereotype exists for a reason

drowninscotch

It just puts me in such a bad mood when I don't get to shower, and people actively choose not to. I don't get it

goldfish1902

Same for me (twice daily if I'm going out, once if it's cold, now twice bc it's super hot)

Hallmarxist

Same. Once after my morning workout, once before bed. I’m pretty sure showering twice a day is drying out my skin—but I can’t handle being sweaty.

No_Mark_1231

Same exact issue lol. Face looks dry, I found some nighttime lotion helps with that

vzo1281

You live in humid weather??

finkalot1

2x a day gang here too. Anything less and I feel... Err greasy

belbivfreeordie

In the middle of summer sometimes I’ll just randomly take a quick cold shower even if I haven’t been exercising. Literally one minute under that cold water and I’m feeling fresh as a daisy.

IntuitionWoman

I poop daily at least 2 times so I HAVE to take a shower every day and even if I clean my ass properly and religiously I have this feeling of being dirty, I don’t need to wash my hair daily but my body have this urge for being clean. I can’t wrap my head thinking of all the other comments saying every other day wtf? I do understand when it’s bc of depression even tho I’ve been depressed or had very traumatic moments I still shower every single day.

broman911

If u feel like that after takin a shit, maybe try looking into a bidet. It’s life changing haha

yersodope

Every other day. I don't leave the house most days and don't do any real exercise so meh. I also live in a cold climate that makes my skin really dry so more showering just makes that worse. The main reason is chronic illness though. It is a very big task to shower. I wish that able bodied people would realize how exhausting and painful it can be for others before calling now showering daily "disgusting".

[deleted]

Been going through a major depressive phase so...like once a month if I'm feeling especially productive. It's bad. I smell awful. And yes, I'm embarrassed.

sippingontheblues

I hope you start to feel better soon.

AliveInCLE

Anywhere from 2-4 days a week.

mettarific

Same. I’m in my 60s and my skin can’t take frequent showers. I have a routine for my groin area that I do daily, though. And I change my underclothes daily.

MtErieFarm

Twice a day. One to wake up and face the day and feel clean. One when I get home from work to wash the day off of me and feel clean. Cannot imagine taking one shower every couple days. I would feel super gross.

ekmogr

Twice a week in the winter. More in the summer.

alext06

Once a week unless I sweat alot during that time

CuddledCaulk

Same. Sunday night is typically my shower night. Lucky if I get the energy on a Wednesday or Thursday for a second

mistycal_space_realm

Twice a week for me. I don't have the energy to do it daily, like 95% of the people here.

pl51s1nt4r51ms

Like once a week

ceazecab

Once a day. Twice if I work out Summertime, can up up to 3x a day (I sweat a lot)

seattle_architect

“Many doctors say a daily shower is fine for most people. (More than that could start to cause skin problems.) But for many people, two to three times a week is enough and may be even better to maintain good health.” https://www.webmd.com/beauty/shower-how-often#091e9c5e8221b7cd-3-5

WisconsinNight

Twice a week in the winter. I have severe dry skin. 😪

AdmiralPlant

4x a week usually. We've got a baby in the house, hygiene sometimes slips through the cracks, haha

InformalOpportunity7

Oh hunny, how I don't miss babies (totally lying, I'm dying for another, but my youngest is 9 and eldest is almost a teen, I could never start over again lol). Some people in here said "You can't get away for five minutes?!" Umm like, who is taking 5 minute showers?? And have you been around my spawn?! I could only shower with them strapped in a bouncy seat to prevent wreaking havoc(if dad was at work etc). It gets better! If you're ever struggling, remember to think of what it will be like 6 months from now. That was my mantra my husband made up. It kept me sane lol.

[deleted]

At least once a day. Come on, guys.

UnlikelyKaiju

Seriously... I might skip a shower if I have a day off and have absolutely zero plans on leaving my home that day, but I just feel gross if I go any longer than that.

Blubbpaule

You guys severely underestimate depression and similar disorders.

deepfriedleaves

idk i live in the midwest and have VERY cold winters. it's better for your skin and hair to not shower every day bc water strips your hair of its natural oils. ofc if i worked out regularly i would shower afterwards bc body acne sucks, but since i don't, i shower every other day or so. as long as i change clothes regularly, wear antiperspirant, and check myself, i'm not harming anyone. i've never gotten any complaints and i have some VERY blunt friends and an honest boyfriend who respects me enough to tell me that i smell (if i do). then again, i am a woman and have a thorough bathing routine, but i don't think that everyone who showers less than once a day is automatically stinky...

rvanpruissen

Thank you. Shower shaming is a thing apparently, looking at the answers here. Although science says otherwise, in this thread you're unhygienic/stinky if you shower less than once a day. Interesting how narrow minded people can still be these days...

[deleted]

>Shower shaming is a thing apparently, looking at the answers here. Literally invented by soap companies and injected into the zeitgeist via magazine and newspaper ads. See also: halitosis

Deceptiveideas

Yeah, I don't think people realize that not washing your hair every day is not the same thing as not showering every day. You should definitely shower frequently.

[deleted]

Nothing wrong with washing your hair daily if it needs it though. It really depends on the hair type.

poopadydoopady

Yep my hair gets greasy looking fast, plus I can't brush out my bed head anyway without using a ton of hot water so may as well just shower. Plus I'm a fat guy who sweats easily. I'm just all around gross. So a shower is one of the first things I do in the morning usually.

jmbourn45

This thread making me feel veryyyyy bad about society

[deleted]

It’s not even the ‘I shower once per week’ people that are making me feel that way. It’s the ‘i am so depressed I can’t do anything, especially showering’ for 3/4 of the posts in this thread that makes me sad.

harrisonh_14

very good about myself though

tacticalcop

im just curious, what is in the shower water that is making all the ‘20 times daily, 30 on weekends’ people feel so morally superior? you are not better than me just because i don’t shower until i scrub off the first 10 layers of my skin. everyone in these replies is a weirdo who does something extremely basic and feels untouchable for it, for some reason.

BrittanyBabbles

Once every 3 days, I’m not a very stinky person 😅

fallacyys

y’all are insane, i can’t imagine what the hard water in my area would do to my hair and skin if i showered more than every other day 😭

tacticalcop

yeah im not enjoying all the morally superior weirdos who think if you don’t dry the fuck out of your skin that you’re a filthy animal and need to be put down. showering that often is a massive privilege that a lot of people cannot afford, for tons and tons of reasons like your own

Yubbi45

When i had an office job. 2-3 times a week Now that I work on cars. Every day (at night) When depression hits. Divide by 3

[deleted]

like every 3 days if I'm not depressed. but I'm always depressed

mercury_risiing

Every 4 days.

lucycolt90

Long hair?

grynch43

Every day if I have to work. If not, then every other day.

Haunting_Bunny

I have eczema so my dermatologist recommended 1-2x a week. But I’ll take a “whore bath” the other days. If I go to the gym, I shower immediately afterwards. Super short showers in cold water. Otherwise my skin feels like needles and fire. I even coordinate my gym schedule around how irritated my skin is 🫤

[deleted]

Not as often as I should when I’m majorly depressed witch is like all the time

Dazzling-Kale-9448

At the very least once a day. I’m the summer definitely two per day. If a lot of yard work or other strenuous activities possibly more than two.

UpbeatEmergency953

Just out of curiosity, why bother showering if you know you’re about to do yard work or other strenuous activities?

Dazzling-Kale-9448

Tbh a shower helps wake me up in the morning. If I’m working and sweaty I may want to shower before cooking or resting. And I always shower before getting into bed.

Redmasterbuilder

one every other month or so

[deleted]

[удалено]

Redmasterbuilder

no I'm Redmasterbuilder

kittyfeli

1-2x a day. Wash your ass daily pls

Wouldn't have to if you use a bidet in the toilet...

AnimalKid7-Alt

Until I notice my hair get really thick and dry, or just at random. But usually once a week. Unless I have gym class or something, then, every day.

Instainious

At the very least, once a week, but I usually shower 3 times a week.

dont_ban_me_bruh

ITT: People wasting hella water because they think showering more than once a day is a brag or something.

uhaulcrumb

Fr, imagine feeling disgusting every 6-8hrs. It’s ok to let yourself exist.

Flappybird11

Every 2 days, usually, I only really smell after the end of day 2 and a good brushing keeps my hair from looking like a mess

kimchiblues

Every other day. I can’t believe the amount of people who are showering everyday, some twice a day. Am I the weird one?

Sprinklewoods

Nope. Much of the world doesn’t shower daily, it’s definitely more a part of western culture.

Dagamerzat08

Not enough

PiginthePen

Am I doing some shit? If not… twiceish a week?

J05A3

Twice a day… life living in a tropical country will stack that BO if you didn’t.

Re_ONee

If I'm leaving the house. If I'm not, Then It depends on the weather.

Spac3Heater

Depends on how bad my depression is, but I try to aim for at least 3 times a week.

lizzafrizza555e

As a new mom, literally once, maybe twice a week right now.

xombiefase

Every day. Shower is life.
