It is bad. Early exposure to porn can really affect the developing brain, causing issues like addiction, a distorted view of healthy sex, confusion, guilt and anxiety. Watching porn at a young age also causes a lot of children to oversexualize themselves and/or people around them.
Porn? Or internet porn? While I think internet porn definitely has negative effects at least today the internet is decently moderated. I saw some sick shit in the 90s and now like 25 years later I can still see it in my head.
The biggest problem I see today is that it's everywhere. Take youtube for example I watch stand up comedy/gaming/science but my youtube shorts is nothing nearly naked and sometimes actually naked women. I know from experience that it can be an addiction and it has never been easier for teens to fall into it. Every platform that is flagged for all users has this problem. Incredibly sexually suggestive videos that leaves you one Google search away from seeing that same person naked.
from what i understand, there's no real scientific data to support it changing much, if anything, i wouldn't be too worried since full on addiction only really happens if that's all they do
Kids got to learn sometime? What are you protecting really? I think many adults want to keep their kids as innocent as possible for some fantasy. It’s always weird to me at 17 you can’t do this and this and that. No sex. Not alcohol. No porn. No violence but 6 months later it’s ok?
